Remarks

This college is a part of Delhi University so all perks of being a delhi university college are attached to it like great campus, syllabus, wide recognition, great exposure, pocket friendly fees and for me the most important part great green environment. So for all new students who wish to do Mcom/MBA/MBE from different departments of Delhi School Of Economics is a definite Yes.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Student who wish to go for research/phd this is a great platform because its syllabus have everything fruitful and very enriching and faculty of this college all are very educated having their phd degrees and on top of thay they are very easy to talk to. Student ratio was also good. It was 60:40 60 for girls and 40 for boys. For every 4 months you are going to face exams and for passing them you need to study definitely, they need efforts.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not good, this is best for research students who wish to study further this is the best place but even if you want to go for job you will get it but the median package is 500000-600000

College Events

Life on campus is quite good as the whole campus has quite a lot greenery. You will definitely love it. In college there are many societies for entertainment like placement society, Entertainment society, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Best part of being a Delhi University College is that the overall fees of your college is 8000 and if you also be able to get admission in Jubilee hall hostel your annual expense of living will also be fixed at 50000/ year. There are not many scholarship and it varies year by year. About job availability you can get jobs but they are not good so i will recommend if you wanna research and want to go for Phd then this is for you.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MSC operations research, which is a very vast and deep course. It goes deep into understanding business operations and providing the businesses with best quality steps. There were real life projects which have helped me alot in understanding difficult topics. If there could be more projects it would have been more helpful for studies. The exams level is moderate to difficult, have to study hard to perform good in tests/exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Campus placements are must here as we may not have higher degrees like other engineering college students. But we are younger and more enthusiastic and also we have the skillsets which has been taught to us at our college. A salary of 30 to 40 thousand is offered to us at the initial placements from our college.
