Sir syed college, Taliparamba is an aided college under Kannur University. With excellence in academics and extra curricular activities, our college has completed its 50 years last year. 80% of the students are girls. Course Curriculum Overview
Physics is my favourite subject. And my college helped me in increasing my knowledge in physics. All the facilities are assistant professors. But their knowledge in the subject and ability to teach is really appreciated. Syllabus for the semester is usually covered by the semester end exam. Our department has 1 faculty for 4 students.
Placement Experience
Most students go for higher studies after completing degree. And most of them end up teaching with high qualifications. As there is no campus placements offered, students have to find job themselves
College Events
Arts and sports fest for students are conducted every year. One in the odd semester and other in the even. Winners compete in intercollegiate competitions. Central library of the college is very much reliable. Clubs like media club, tourism club, NSS, etc. Are run by students itself.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is an aided college. Govt funds the college. So fees to be paid is less. And for the less fees also, financially backward students can avail e-grant. There are so many scholarship for students of different categories. Campus placement is still a dream of students. Nothing like campus placement is practised in college.
