Remarks

It's one of top colleges in Karnataka, professors are very strict in teaching which is good for us,I preferred this college because I wanted to study in mysuru, because it's a nice city. You can visit nie.ac.in website for more info about this college.

I was interested in electronics and communication course and that's why I chose this course, faculty members are very kind,exams are little bit difficult but we can manage that if you could study regularly.

Placement Experience

7th sem Students are eligible for placements.Infosys,Cisco,Bosch,Amazon,L and T etc. Highest package was from Cisco 2920000. Out of 120 per branch every student will get placed.

College Events

There will be fest for every branch and a colege fest at the middle of academic year. one college library and branch libraries where you can find every book you need if it isn't there they will make it available for you within some few days.All sports activities are there.Many clubs like IEEE,onyx,robotics are there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fee is 26000 and it includes KEA fee, scholarship opportunities are available like nsp etc, I am still persuing in 3rd year and If I study well I am sure that I will get a job in next year.

Hostel Facilities

3 people per room,and the facilities are nice. Provides healthy food.3 meals per day and tea at 5 30 evening.Registration process doesn't take much time.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

KCET itself was a entrance test. On the basis of rank you got in KCET exam you can choose a college for thet rank. For admission you have to bring your documents and they will ask some basic info about you and they will create a biodata in college computers.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Pgdm At JAGsom - My Honest Take

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
