Remarks
Among all private colleges in NCR(Delhi region), the average package provided by my college is best. So many giants visit here like Amazon, Adobe, D. E. Shaw, Grofers etc. I chose this college because it was near to my home town and also because Amazon visits here. The only con is It's fees it's around INR 2 lakh for each year and if you want hostel that would cost you another INR 1.25 lakh. For admission you need to visit there website. www.jiit.ac.in and fill up admission form there. Also you need to have qualified JEE Mains and the maximum cutoff rank is 60,000 of JEE Mains.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Computer Science Engineering because it's very advanced and trending field nowadays. You can easily get high paying jobs in this stream. Faculties here are very qualified. Almost all the teachers have done their PhDs in CS. And all the classrooms are having AC and fitted with projectors. Hence teaching method is high tech. The Student ratio is around 60:40 (boys:girls). In each semester there are 3 exams: T1(20 marks), T2(20 marks), T3(35 marks) and Internal given by teachers (25 marks). If you don't study you can't pass. Exams level are moderate.
Placement Experience
The placements here are very astonishing. Amazon visits here every year. So many giants like Adobe, Flipkart, Grofers, Deloitte visit here. Highest package is provided by D. E. Shaw for Software Developer Profile for 33 LPA. Lowest is 3.6 LPA by Ericson, Wipro, Cognizant etc. 100% placement for Computer Science Students.
College Events
Life here is so amazing. The name of annual fest is Impressions. And the specialty of this fest is EDM night in which every year a popular artist ( like Milind Gawa) visits here. The library here is so big and air conditioned. You can find all sort of magzines and books about computer science and electronice and communications. Volleyball, basketball are very famous here. There are so many hubs(clubs) here some of them are : Knuth (Computer Programming Hub), Bhangra(Dance Hub), Play Hub(theatre), Ecology Hub.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For each semester, you need to pay 70,000 - tution fee, 30000- development fee. So in total it's 1 lakh per semester. And yes, each year tution fee increases by 5,000.There is no Scholarship. You can easily get student loan from your nearby bank. And yes the minimum package is 6 lakh here. You can easily grab it. I was placed with 8 lpa package in Infosys.
Hostel Facilities
All hostel are rooms are double ( 2 people one room). And all are air conditioned. High speed WiFi internet is also provided. And Mess food is also good. Sometimes they provide boring food as well. But that's rare. If you want hostel, you need to pay hostel fee along with your tution fee, they will allocate you room after that.
