Harsh's Review On Netaji Subhas University Of Technology - [NSUT], New Delhi

NSIT is one of the best engineering colleges. The college has a lot to offer to students, NIRF ranking of college is very good,plus college is a government college with a light fee structure as compared to other engineering colleges in the country.faculty here is outstanding with a very good teaching experiance, academic background of teachers is also very good with graduates from IITs and IIMs.there is a good culture among students for higher studies including exams like that of GATE, CAT etc. placements offered by the college are also very good with avg placements starting from 6 lakhs and going to 50 lakhs or so,college life here is quite cool and the infrastructure is modern and very nice with enough amenities for students.i used quora and college duniya to surf information about the college

Instrumentation and control engineering or ICE is one of the oldest and reputed branch of NSUT. ICE branch has a lot to offer to students with its extension in exams like GATE for studying Mtech after getting the Btech degree. plus at my rank this was the best branch i could get in NSUT.teaching faculty of ICE is also very good with student to teacher ratio of 1:15 plus the teachers have a very good academic experiance. the average placement of the branch is 7 to 8 lakhs which is quite good for a core branch. the exams are held quite frequently with majorly short tests includind mcq questions which are very easy to pass on if studied well.

NSIT attracts some of the best companies in India and around the world to its campus. Some 100 companies come for a batch of 700 students (Approximate figures). students after 4 th semester are allowed to compete for job placements before the final examinationAs far as software and non-tech companies are concerned, the placements are at par with most IITs. While the core branches also have a good placement percentage. the comapnies that visit the campus include Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsft,Infosys, and many more.The average salary offered in NSIT is around 5.5 - 6.5 LPA my plan is study management from IIMs of our country after completion of my btech course.

campus life of students is good with a friendly attitude for each other. The college organizes a lot of fests but the major popular one include RESONANCE and MOKSH.Ameneties in the college are quite good like that of library classrooms labs and all of them in good condition. college offers alot of extracaricular activities like that of NSUTTHON which keeps everyone busy despite regular classes.there are alot of societies in the college like mirage the dancing society, subhasha the literacy society, the quiz club of NSUT and what not. more than 25 societies to offer different skill set to students.

campus is very big with campus size of 145 acres with a lot of buildings in it. Each department has its own building comprising of classes and labs to teach to students, these labs and classes are maintained well with proper equipments and amenities.: There is Wi-Fi all over the Dwarka campus (old). A few of the labs like Embedded Systems are really good but that is not the general case. The library is really nice with centralized AC and a huge collection of books. Classrooms are okay but have facilities like projectors and ACs. Hostels have Wi-Fi, table-tennis, badminton courts and a common hall with a TV but the food is not good. There are single as well as double sharing rooms, there is also places like gyms in the college. overall a good campus.
