Remarks

PSG is one of the finest and the best college in Tamilnadu with good campus and infrastructural facilities. The education adlnd staffs are really good and the placements are always maintained above par here. And the exposure the students who studies in hostel get is an enormous thing. There is no big disadvantage in PSG except the internet facilities and network in the hostel.

The academics and the staffs are really good in the biotech department in PSG and i chose this course out of interest as i love biology. The facuty to student ratio is 1:15 and almost 90 percent of the professors have a phd and some do have a post doc.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

When it comes to other separtmenta there are a lot of core as well as it companies offering from 5 to 30 lakhs per annum and for biotech the number core companies is less, however there are a lot of IT companies offering a good amount of salary.

College Events

There are a lot of clubs in PSG and these clubs ensure you a fun time between your academic schedule. When you are hosteller you would love PSG as there are a lot of fun activities and the social life there will give you a different experience to your life. There are a lot of club activities like camps and radiohubs do take voices of people around Coimbatore an thus you would definitely have a good social interactions.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an alumini scholorship to meet the tuition fee requirements and also there is the governemnt scholorships for both hostel and tuition fee. While in most of thr scholorships you need a oncome certificate and in some a first graduate certificate.

Campus Life

PSG TECH has a very good sports facilities, gym and when it comes to the library the GRD library is one of the largest when compared with other colleges. The laboratories are well equipped and there are well practised technicians to guide.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has a very good infrastructure at an affordable cost and the food in PSG is one of the best. The hostel fee can be varied based on your convinence. I have opted for 4 people per room and my hostel fee is 84000 rupees which would include food and room cost.While there are various scholorships available to meet the requirements.

The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
