Remarks

There are so many positives than the negative of the college. Only negative of the college is the small area of the college and there is literally no ground for the students to play ground games such as cricket and football. There is small ground but it is used for the College parking.Apart from that there are not so many of the negatives. Biggest positive of the college is that the placement. Almost every student gets a job inside the college or outside the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

If you want to take the admissions in vit, pune the be prepared for the changes.Because Dean of the college itselef told that change is the only constant in vit. But it can assure that it's easy to pass in college exam pattern. but it varies every year, even for the semester exam pattern may change. Now vit has acquired the mcq pattern they want student to get more practical knowledge rather than getting marks from the threoy paper. They reduce the marks of the mee nad ese exam and includes the group discussion and ppt for the each subject. And of course there viva at the end of each semester for each subject. Every exam apart from the mse and ese there will be an external examinar for your assement so you have to great knowledge about the subject. Each semester there is edi project which for the 4 credit. It also have the exam at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience

4

Currently i am in 2nd year so don't know much about the placement and internship. But I have heard from many senior student that you maintain. The pointer above 8 then you will be able to appear for almost all the companies. Most of placement are from computer and information technology department. College provide internship only for the 3 rd and 4th student for that you have to appear for the interview and college also take it's own exam for it.they have now introduce the amcat which compulsory for the every student it is type of your aptitude test.

College Events

There are many events happen in vit. But due the area of the college is small some of the event happen outside the vit. The very first event happen is fresher party where seniors entertain the new comers to the college. Then vishwakarndak happen in October which itracollege competition between the department in the college. The during the feb or march melange happen which is inter college competition where many colleges takes part in compition and vishwostav happen during april which for the students.Such as formal day sarry day tie day such events takes place during that event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of the vit is very expensive. for the open category student total fee is around 1.90 lakhs and for the obc student it is about 90k.It is only of the college fees if you want to take admission in college hostel then college hostel itself costs 1.50laks.so it's very expensive for studying in vit

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship are offered by the college but that are Not from college either they are of government or by other private. College itself has one separate department which handles the school ship scheme. But if you want any scholarship you must have all documents and must be ready for facing the rejection. From the department because they don't give proper information.College provides the loan facilities which are provided by the bank which is associated with the college. Fo application of the loan is very hectic job.

Campus Life

4.5

There are so many extracurricular activities are going on during the semester. As college has insured that the every student has to do some extracurricular activities hence they have introduce the subject such as gp1,gp2. So what is gp1, this is for the 1st year student where they have to select any sports or the active of their intereste and have to appear for the exam at the end of the semester. What gp2 is for the 2nd year student where they have to do some social work. So many gp2 activities are conducted by swd committee. You have to pass both gp1 and gp2 in order to take admission in 3d year.

Alumni/Alumna

College has maintain very strong between the alumiNi of the the college. They have the separate committee of teachers which handles this. They help the college for the every matter and gives instructions to the college such that what is important in industry at the time so that college can change their curriculum. And talking about the senior so they are very helpful they help in every matter.

Admission

First of all we to appear for the cet exam which for the all college and it is compulsory for maharashtra students. If you are from outside of maharashtra the you must appear for the jee mains.Your cet or jee mains score will decide you will get the admission or not. If your name appear in the merit list then you have to come to the college for the admission process. At the time of admission day you must have the all documents required for the admission. Also must take 2 to 3 set of Xerox of each documents. The document which are required for the admission are given in the college pdf you can refer if you want.About the fees, you have to submit the dd of the bank.Online payment or on time payment are not available. Then you have to go through the no of rounds of the admission process. It's very hectic and can sometimes take whole day.So be prepared for this.

Faculty

Talking about the faculty of the vit. Some of the teaches are very helpful but some of them are very strict. They want the work to be done within time and if you not submit it on time you may lose your marks. But some are helpful they even help in your course project. If you want some marks for the passing they even help in you in that you requested it so. All faculty is intelligent.many of them are phd holders.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell is responsible for the placement process. It is not very streamlined. Getting a job is considered tough, usually, the student has to search for it themselves. The average package offered is about 4 Lakhs which is okayish. Usually, students go for masters in Europe which is one of the best options. About 40 people apply for placements out of 180 students and out of that about 20-30 get placed.
