Remarks
Infrastructure wise it is brilliant. Academics and other curriculum activities are also organized very well. But one main problem associated with it is that availability of hostel fro only NRI sponsored category, which isn't available to other students. Location of Nirma University is on S.G.Highway so no transportation problem for that reason.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is well-designed and it is in well-structured manner. It is updated on every year based on the company's expectation from students. About Exam structure: There are mainly four exams in every semester:To be specific)1. Under Continuous Evaluation(40% of total) two exams are taken2. Laboratory practical work(20% of total) one exam3. SEE(40% of total) - Final exam. And relative grade system is used to determine the grad of the students.
Placement Experience
Yes, there is higher opportunity of placements. For CSE students placements is almost 100% as many companies are there for recruitment process. In CSE, around 10 companies can't find even a single student as all are selected earlier. Highest package is of 29.95 lakh per annum given by media.net(Directi). In other branches like mechanical and electrical highest salary may not too high but the average is still at 5 lakh per annum.
College Events
Mainly in our college three events are celebrated.1) Vaudeville - It is a cultural events and it is specially for only Institute of Technology.2) NU-Zeal -- It is also cultural events but unlike in Vaudeville other department like management, law's student can also participate into it. Dance,Music are the main events in both of this.3) NU-Tech -- This is the biggest technical fest may be across Gujarat. Many student's also joined in this events. Many technical events like robotics, coding competition and other workshop based on current technology are the part of it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is vary over categories over which you have taken admission.1) For normal student take admission by ACPC or JEE - Fee is 89,000 Rs. per sem (including exam fee)2) NRI sponsored (Fee is in dollar but so it varies over time but it is approx 2 lakh per sem)3) GULF country ( 2.50 Lakh per sem)

Campus Life
There are many other activities other than academics.1) Cultural events2) Events organized by different clubs like RCNI, ISTE, Augen IL23) Annual Sports day All this events are state level. And all these are played at inter-institute level first and than at inter-University level.
Hostel Facilities
NO, I haven't opted for hostel. As hostel are only for NRI sponsered students in Nirma university. And also I am local to Ahmedabad so I live with my family. But yes Hostel structure is good but is is quite costly, as the fee of hostel is 1.37 lakh per year which is comparatively very higher than other PGs and Hostels(may be 90,000 per annual contract).
Alumni/Alumna
They are really useful for us. During summer vacation they guide us about recruitment process and how to face interview and do well in group discussions. Many senior student help junior in terms of material provide and other education difficulties as well. Like in our CSE, everyday they organized a coding session.
Admission
I am able to get the admission on the college by both the ways. 1) ACPC or 2) JEE.My all India Rank in JEE was 14,212 with 162 marks out of 360, and my Gujarat board ACPC rank was 316. So, I was able to get admission on both the ways.
