Entrance Preview
I gave GMAT and my score was 670 i Opted for IIML as this is most trusted brand in India that we have. The peer group matched my profile with minimum experience of 8 years. Also the international module part of course curriculum was something i was looking forward.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is specifically designed to cater the need to managers with diverse work experience. There are four terms and one credit for course of independent study which help us to aplly learning in real world situations. The international module is after second term and it included two colleges in Europe. Also there is one week module of study in Mother campus. Overall the curriculum is apt to develop senior management.
Internships Opportunities
There is no provision of internship in the IPMX course. However the one credit course of independent study gives opportunity to apply learning in real situations. In this we can opt for live projects as well as research oriented topics.
Placement Experience
There is non disclosure policy of the College so figures cant be disclosed. The Overalll placement was good. All the companies from different industries, Manufacturing,consulting,IT, Services,Construction etc. participated in placement process. The detail list of companies can be seen the institute website.
College Events
Many activities are organised by the institute in all the spheres from academic to cultural. Academic: Leadership talk series: Leaders from different industries are called to share their learning experience. Paper Presentations and academic meetings: May events from different domains are conducted in which there is representation from students,Profs from all over the country. Cultutal: Corporate sports tournament Festival celebrations, Independence day celebrations, Alumini meet.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure details can be seen from the website as they keep on revising time to time. Though institute has not ties up for financing but many banks have listed the course in A category and loans are very easily available. The SBI bank near Noida campus provide hassel free services to the students. The total cost is most reasonable as compared to to all other institutes providing one year MBA. The international travel is also included in the fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such facility available as this is course for people with prior work experience so no loans or scholarship is provided. Students have to arrange funds themselves. Also in international visit boarding and lodging is provided by institute but other expenses have to be borne by the students.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome sports facilities for Lawn tennis cricket, badminton, basketball, football is available. Also facilities for indoor sports like carom, chess snooker is available. There is gym also the campus are is full of greenery and ambiance is very serene. The workshops and tournaments occur regularly in campus and provide good break among hectic schedule the gender ratio is less than 5%.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facility is good two types of accommodations are there. One with attached toilets and other without. There are common washrooms in each floor. Water coolers and washing machines are also provided in hostels. There is family accommodation also available to people wants to move in with spouse and children. The common mess is managed by students body and is quite ok.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is ok and on the path of growing strong the alumni committee helps in mapping right alum. Frequent interactions are there with alumni within campus as well as off campus overall the alumni network is helpful.
Exam Structure
The schedule is woven in very tightly manner for max learning in one year. But many activities like corporate sports tournament, Alumni handover, Festival celebrations etc are done to rejuvenate the process. There are 4 terms of 2.5 months each and 15 days for international curriculum. First two terms are hectic on curriculum while last two terms are more specific to electives.
Faculty
The faculty is extremely helpful and accommodation for new ideas. Special mention of Marketing faculty including Prof. Amit mookherje and Satyabhushan Dash whose teaching style in unconventional and force u to think out of the box. The Residential faculty is very helpful in after academic hours also.
