again i would like to say it is a great college for those who want to achieve success in life, the college is having a number of professional courses where anyone and excel in the desired field.
Entrance Preview
I took direct admission as i had done BBA from the same institute, Batch 1996-99. and in the year 1999 I was directly selected for the course of PGDM as i was the pass out of the same.
Course Curriculum Overview
the course structure was comparable to the top institutes in india the electives were Marketing: Consumer Behavior, Marketing of services, Rural Marketing, Retail Marketing. Digital Marketing HR: Human Resource Planning, HR Accounting, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development
Internships Opportunities
most of the major multinationals were involved in the process of Training, like Sony, Phillips, GE, DLF, Pidilite, Airtel, DTDC, etc.
Placement Experience
all the 60 students of the batch were place from the college itself, the highest package was 4.5 Lacs and the minimum package was 3 lacs per anum. the companies which visited the campus were Sony, Phillips, GE, DLF, Pidilite, Airtel, DTDC. some of the students of the batch were self emplyed as they have started their own companies.
College Events
we use to have four events in a years time they were: Freshers: this was a cultural cum welcome event for the freshers, a number of cultural events were organized and mr and ms freshers were chosen Annual function: this was the annual function of the institutes, celebrating the foundation of the college, many of the cultural activities were involved in the same
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fee structure was very much affordable and the payment modes wre also very easy, we never felt burdened for the same. the total fee for the course was 1.25 lacs, it was payable in 8 installments, the registration fee of 1000 was taken as the cost of the institute's form and 2500 as a caution money. we never found the fee structure expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
there was a scholarship scheme for the meritorious students, it was 25% of the total tution fee for the period of one year, and the student have to maintain the % of marks for the same. most of the nationalized banks were available for the education loan facility, and there was a proper coordination in banks and the institute as well. some of the students were from the samaj kalyan where the fee of the students was paid by the government itself.
Campus Life
we enjoyed a great campus life in the institute, the institute taught us to work in teams, and the same spirit run through out the course, we use to participate in all the extra curricular activities after the college hours as the amenities were open for more than 15 hours a day. the gender ratio was almost 5:1, for boys and girls respectively. there was not much diversity in the same.
Hostel Facilities
the hostel was in the campus itself, there were three types of accomodation, single bed, double bed, and triple bed, all the basic amenities were available in the hostel like doctor, gym, library, games area, etc. some of the students use to live in the near by PG's as well the rentals of the PG were more than the hostel accommodation, but the seats in the hostel were limited so some students have to reside in the near by PG.
Alumni/Alumna
college is having a very strong alumni network, an alumni meet is organized every year and the old student use to meet in that meet and share there experiences. there is an alumni association as well, it function as the bridge in between the external and internal environment of the college.
Exam Structure
the structure of the exam was not hectic, we use to have one mid term and one end term exam for all the semesters. the question which were being asked in the exams were of practical approach, we use to learn from the question papers as well. as the faculties who prepare the the QP were experts in their fields and were having more than 20-25 years of experience in their respective areas, the in house faculties were all doctorates and were very efficient in their teaching,
Admission
I took direct admission as i had done BBA from the same institute, Batch 1996-99. and in the year 1999 I was directly selected for the course of PGDM as i was the pass out of the same. I filled the form of UPMCAT, exam conducted by Uttar pradesh technical univesity in Ghaziabad, and attended the counseling of the same in Allahabad, U.P. i filled IME as a choice and got the seat.
Faculty
most of the faculty was from the apex management institutes of Delhi and NCR Prof V.K. Garg: Delhi University Prof J.K. Sharma: FMS, Delhi Prof V.K. Agarwal: Delhi University Prof Sabarwal: IMT Ghaziabad all the above professors were experts in their fields and were having more than 20-25 years of experience in their respective areas, the in house faculties were all doctorates and were very efficient in their teaching,
