Remarks

Admission: BHU intakes students in their B.A.LL.B(Hons) program through an entrance exam known as (BLAT). Nearly 60 thousand students apply every year for just 60 seats. The syllabus comprises of: Quantitative technique. Logical reasoning Legal reasoning with legal maxims Current affairs General knowledge with static GK. English grammar. The exam is not very tough but the competition is pretty high.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opted for this course because it empowers an individual to bring a change in the lives of the people. The faculty to student ratio is quite low as compared to other institutions hardly there are 80 students because of such a low number of seats, so enough interactions take place among the student and the teachers. Most of the faculty is highly qualified and are at the professor level. The works of the faculties have been published in many renowned colleges across the world. One of those notable professors is Prof. R.K.Murli sir whose work in labour law has been published many times in the ivy collages like, Harvard.

Internships Opportunities

4

The campus does offer placement being in the 1st year of my law school I did an internship with an NGO though there was no stipend my work got published there are internships and subsequent years one also gets stipend while working in different chambers and in law firms.

Placement Experience

4.5

Most of the students are more inclined towards judiciary and BHU intakes also known as the Judge Factory of India. The law school is quite new regarding the placement though the law school has been teaching law for more than 100 years the placement cell was established recently in 2014 and the cell is working quite hard to bring companies. The cell also provides quite a number of internships as I have witnessed in my 1 semester but I am not very much aware of the placement as only 2 batches have passed out only. So it needs some time to show some results.

Fees and Financial Aid

The five year integrated program (B.A.LL.B) is a self financed program so its fee becomes 20 times more than the regular LL.B program still it is very much low than most the colleges in the country. The fee of the B.A.LL.B (Hons) program is 60000 per annum. Though there are quite a lot no. of scholarship available which one can render.

Campus Life

4.5

Thanks to this COVID-19 I haven't visited the campus yet, but from the past experience of the campus, it is very evident that the campus is full of greenery. The university has an immense collection of books and journals after getting into law school one gets access to the library personally the law school along with the acces to the central library and the cyber library. The university gives lots of amenities like medical facilities, shuttle runs, wifi, swimming pool etc. The university also has its teams in various disciplines which constantly participants in all India level tournaments. The law school also has various social group and legal aid society providing legal to the underprivileged communities.

It depends on the individual what he wants to obtain. It is a perfectly balanced curriculum that has pretty obvious use in real world or in further academic pursuits. No improvement according to me. Frequency and timings are perfect for the test

Course Curriculum Overview:

There were around 20 to 25 speakers in my course. Because of an enormous number of understudies in a solitary course, we were partitioned in various segments and each segment has distinctive instructors for a similar subject ( few were normal). The majority of the teachers are matured between 50 to 60 who are probably going to get retirement however they have the main part of information and experience since they are profoundly qualified. Also, not many speakers have recently added researchers of the organization who don't have that much insight yet discovered new and simpler strategies of learning and instructing.

After the 5th semester students get eligible for campus placements. The highest package companies were Byju's, Big Basket, Tech Mahindra, etc. and give the best offers to the undergraduate students. Highest package was 7Lpa and the average was 1.2Lpa and the profiles offered were BDA, CSE, Marketing, HR, etc. Out of 100% students 70-80% students get placed and the rest prepare for Master course My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for the Master course.

It's a nice place to live in because here the bond which gets developed is unbreakable. Seniors are of great help. They can help in small works like how to put thouread in needle to how to write research papers for Havard. Negative thing about Rml is that here students are too chill.
