Remarks
College management wants you to act like puppets. Pretty soon people learns to ignore them. Lets hope they don't with hold my certificates for this.

COMEDK RANK: around 10000 this was the first college where I could opt for in chemical engineering given my rank. Having heard about its reputation of being amongst the top colleges in Bangalore, I decided to pursue with my engineering courses here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was well defined and designed so as to get some load off our shoulders thought the assessments and assignments will keep you busy. I do feel that the last semester is a bit tiresome with one of the most interesting yet difficult subject in chemical engineering, but it is heard that they have shifted it back to 7th semester. So typically smooth sailing ahead.
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide internship but the have contacts over varied fields of-industries to refer you for the same. But it would be considered better if, as an engineer, the candidate is to get an internship by himself/herself.
Placement Experience
Both core and IT options are there but core is less (statistically around 33%). The core pay scale is astronomically less also. IT pays significantly well but there is risk of stagnation in future if skills are not honed. Around 70% of my batch achieved on campus placement (strictly IT) at first trial. Prospect is good indeed.
College Events
Fest is huge with eminent DJs and main attractions include battle of bands and fashion shows. Colleges all over Bangalore are informed and a lot of crowd attends these events. Department fests and tech fests are commonplace. And International fests which are collaborated with the Rotary club are also well visited upon (though engineering students are seldom interested in them).
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure holds good enough and equivalent to other colleges. ITs not cheap. If one is familiar with the price hikes in bangalore, they will know. It is a little over 200,000 INR. This would obviously include books provided by college (highly inadeuate), lbrary fees, uniforms and security eposits.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is only available for those who have a poor household and for those who study too hard to enjoy college.
Campus Life
Extracurricular like workshops are commonplace. They have a thing for quizzes tech and non tech and debate culture is finally emerging. Best thing is a foreign language institution offering courses on German and French (I know you're not interested if you are in engineering. Go learn Python!). Campus life is chill if you know the right places and the right people. Diversity is great but trust me, you won't be seeing it much. As for sex ratio, this is engineering, go figure.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is inadequate compared to its intake and is a bit on the stricter side when it comes to freedom (parents must be very, very happy). Good food is a luxury as most north indians and south indians are always picky about their food. Only one solution; Get Over It.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni come on nearly monthly basis to cheer us up with pep talks and give us vital information on the big bad world outside. Being friends with them and informally meeting up with them is a better option.
Exam Structure
There are 2 internals followed by an external per semester. The pass marks for internals and external is 60% and 35% respectively. The subjects would all have individual assessments and the grand total would be the cumulative of marks obtained. Same applies for labs.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are very eager on if you show interest. Unlike the kindergarten classes one has attended so far i schools, kota, etc, they would tend not to spoon-feed you and be under the impression that you have at least common logic intact (which I find is a rarity amongst the new students so hell bent on cracking IITs). Overall they deserve an A. Reprimanding is not very harsh but they do pass on the message clearly.
