JEE mains. I scored 109 marks in jee mains and got selected for JEE advanced but was not able to do wonders there so on the basis of my merit I got admission in this College. The admission process was quite smooth and hassle free.

The course curriculum is really up to the mark as our college has not gained the private autonomous status. The research work is also going on but by very few top level professors only.

Internship Experience was awesome as we were able to interact with on of the giants of the tech business like TCS.

Placement of this college are certainly the only thing why students opt for this college. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Patni and Infosys are the major recruiters. Mostly the computer and IT engineering gets placed with an average package of 3-4.5lakh p.a. It's a trend that most of the students usually go for higher studies in the same college.

KJ Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE) celebrates the following festivals Abhiyantriki which is a technical fest held in October and Symphony (Cultural Festival) is held in January. Orion Racing India is an international racing team of enthusiastic engineers from KJ, determined to get the most out of their educational experience. Through passion and commitment, students collaborate as a team to design, build, test and race an open-wheeled formula style race car that competes in the annual Formula SAE competition.

There are scholarships avaliable for the Economically backward and reserved category students. As I don't belong to any of those I've not availed any scholarship so far.

Campus is huge. Kjsce shares campus with kj somaiya junior college of arts, science and commerce as well as the degree college and the S. K. Somaiya College. There are many place to hangout in Vidyavihar, ccd n mcd are most favourite places of the students. There are many extracurricular activities taken by college like workshops, seminars and guest lectures. There is no much sports facilities of you are a sports fanatic. This college is mostly for the tech geeks. There are student chapters like CSI, IEEE, ACM, etc which undertake technology related workshops throughout the year.

The Hostel are like most of the other engineering college hostel but the fees of hostel o kjsce are quite affordable for higher middle class family belonging students. The Mess food is really the worst food u can eat in Mumbai. One would rather stay hungr

The seniors are very friendly and there is zero ragging case I've faced. The college is very strict against ragging. Seniors are mostly seen hanging out and enjoying their life they don't usually interact up with the freshers.
