Remarks

The college was very close to my home. I checked several reviews for this college, they said it was beautiful here and the faculty and seniors are really friendly. They were right. This was the best choice. Although the admission process was really long and the admission fees were really too much. It's a government college so I can understand. Overall the admission process was kinda messy. Just go through with it, the rest is going to be really comfortable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because chemistry was my favourite subject and I was not disappointed with my syllabus. The faculty is quite large so there is a good faculty to student ratio. Most of the faculty have PhDs, so you are under the guidance of great people. The term exams were not really easy although there was not much to study. You can score really good marks just by attending classes and paying attention, the exams are just averagely difficult.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I received an offer from Verzeo which offered me 15000 per month of stipend but I did not take it because of some personal issues. It didn't really require anything to clarify the task. Mine included a paid web development learning program.

Placement Experience

4

You are eligible to get paid internships from 3rd year. You get really good stipends. I dont really know about the companies that visit but my seniors tell me they get about 7 lakhs per year on average which is quite good I think.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are just too much for the general category. And the SC/STs are over-privileged. They are almost getting paid for studying there. This might get you off if you are general or obc. I have not done any internship yet but I have had several opportunities for internships with over Rs. 15000 stipends.

Campus Life

5

The annual fests are really hyped up and they live up to the hype. Everyone is just enjoying, celebrities do some of their performances, different clubs organise different events, there are food stalls, decoration by club volunteers. Overall it is a good experience. There are different clubs like The Nrityam Dance Club, The Abhinav The Drama Club. They organise their own exclusive shows and activities throughout the year. I can bet you are not going to be bored anytime.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I do not live in the hostel but all my friends who were in the hostel really admired their hostels. The food is served fresh. The menu changes every day and they also serve non-vegetarian food. The place I lived was kind of far from college. But you will not find it hard to find a room near the college. There are a lot of tiffin providers nearby.

Interview Experience

4

No, you just need to qualify through mains that's all. If you are from the same state as college, things are going to be easier for you. The cut off really lowers down for the same state. I prepared for mains just for one year. I think only the board exams were enough preparation for mains for me. You should just focus on board exams, NIT Raipur will come along.

Placement Experience:

We can do internships after 1st year and 2nd but for the placement it's in 4th year. The training and placement cell of the college has work consistently to bring reputated companies like a TCS Wipro Infosys LNT Infotech etc. the medium package for uses students is like 4 lakh per annum and PG students was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum. However when compared with some of the top tile institutions the package levels and placement percentage highlight the student themselves me to bridge through internship of campus drive and additional certifications. Another noticeable trend is that placements 10 to be more favourable for the branches like computer science and information technology where are School branches of an face lower absorption rates which is common in many engineering colleges. But here off campus placement are really good

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Course curriculum is very outdated and here the facilities more practical and they believe that if you want you can do other field like non-technical fields and something like government exam. There course or syllabus is not industrial ready.

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.

Remarks:

The college was established in 2009 and is therefore still growing. The staff and facilities are working very hard to create exceptions and achievements. As the college is comparatively new from others. Therefore, more hard work can be seen in the part of faculties. This gives students studying now a great advantage to learn and gain more.
