Entrance Preview

Jamia engineering Entrance Test conducted by JMI University Itself. Dnt remember my marks,since it was not displayed that time.I opt because of government college and low fees and one of the best engineering colleges in India and location Delhi is another attractive reason.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was a very nice in every Fields.Teachers were very experienced.Classes were always in full attendance exams were taken in very tight and secure ways. Labs were always conducted.Some site visit and training were given on regular intervals.

Internships Opportunities

No,it does not provide for B.tech Students.All the expenses were bear by ourselves in Bachelor degree courses. Since,Fees is low,so no need for loan from banks.

Placement Experience

Many companies visit our campus and the placement % in our times were almost 175%. TCS, Wipro,Google,Smsung,L&T,Simplex ,BGR Energy, HCL and many more. Packages vary from 3 lacs to 25 lacks per annum. It various from company to company. Ave. package is about 3 to 4 lacks.

Fees and Financial Aid

No Loan facilities available.But there is scholarship provided to students of weaker section and those who tops their classes in every year.

Campus Life

Campus life was very nice and full of fun and excitement.In our time,engineering have low gender ratio i.e less girls as compared to boys.Culture was open.Too much extracurricular activities regarding annual sports days both in and out side the university.

Faculty

The faculty teachers were mainly professors,who mainly had their Phd from IITs. Faculty were always ready to help students and they were very strict regarding conducting of exams and markings in exams paper. Faculty were very strict against bunking of classes and some time they detained students who were not serious in attending classes on time.

DTU FROM A FRESHER'S PERSPECTIVE

Placement Experience:

DTU has one of the best placements records among engineering colleges.Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester.Top companies like google microsoft ,qualcomm,airtel visit the college every year with many offers.the highedt package often go above 1 cr for cs/it while the average package around all other branches stay around 12-15 lakhs

DTU is a Nice Place

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is its strong point. A lot of the students get placed at least somewhere in CSE especially. Google is the company a lot of the people get placed in. Highest package is around 2 Cr per annum and Average is around 12-20 Lacs per annum. Percentage of students that get placements is about 90%. There are a lot of internships options here and I know some students that have joined internships from the first year. My plans after getting a degree is to find a nice and comfortable job where I can balance my work and life and work hard there for good money.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

Placement is good in our college , maximum every student get placed in DTU , but if someone get not placed unemployed after graduation he can get outside placement after the graduation, very few students have to face struggle

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

Placement Experience:

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. Highest package - 80LPA (Atlassian) Average Package - 20LPA Some top companies which visit on campus - Google, Microsoft, Apple, Atlassian, Sprinklr, NVIDIA, Tower Research, Estee Advisors, PhonePe, Intuit, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Samsung, Texas Instruments, etc.

Infosys is major as nearly half the corwd is hired by them. Various other companies too but with very few requirements and it is difficult to get into those colleges as it is tough and very tough to be honest.

I started my master's in Chandigarh University before joining Jamia. We have to clear an entrance for JMI. In comparison, it is much better than Chandigarh University. The fee for Jamia is around 16000 for the course , whereas it's around 1.5 lakh there. Then comes the professors. They are much experienced and better in Jamia.
