Great college great experience

It is an IIM with the best destination possible to focus on studies. The course structure is at par with all other top institute and guest professors of the established institute also come to teach. Altogether a very good college,

I had a deep interest in the field of marketing this is the reason I choose marketing as my majors. The course curriculum is the same as the top IIMs. The guest faculties offer a great learning experience. Exams are taken once every month but are easy to pass if you pass attention to the class.

Internships are very easy to get at IIM Sirmaur. Most of the offers are really very good and great companies come to hire the interns. Other flagship opportunities like Google and Microsoft through their processes facilitated by the committee.

The placements are very good. Almost all the students are placed and the placement is almost assured given you follow the strict protocols of the Placement committee. The candidate also has to be well prepared to grab better offers.

All the national and state scholarship are facilitated by the college. There is also a Merit cum need-based scholarship for studies with family income less than 1,50,000 and has a CGPA of at least 7 in the first term. The fee is around 13.5 lakhs but you get a decent package of around 10-13 even if you are below average.

The annual fest is Sierra. Several other events like TEDx, Ugam are also conducted. The library is filled with useful materials. The classroom has world-class amenities. Sports facilities are also highly available.

2 Hostels are inside the campus and 2 more are rented nearby to accommodate the nearby students. The hostel room is big enough to accommodate 2-3students per room easily. MBA is a fully residential program and you have to live at the hostels provided by the college as the fee is included in the curriculum and no breakup is given by the college.

The test is a CAT which is conducted every year. NO GD only WAT and PI through IIM Cap round. the topics are generally simple but your practice shows your sincerity and hence the college judge you on your ability and interest.
