Hello, I joined usict IP main campus cse branch in 2020. I joined this college because it has very less fees, a decent location and good infrastructure. Good aspects: Its fees are very less just 320000 for four years and being in Delhi you get a lot of exposure and internship opportunities and there are only 180 students in three branches it,cse,ece. It is the top college under IP university. Placements are average to decent with some good companies coming like amazon, snapdeal, Flipkart, ZS associates. The average package of cse this year is 7-8 lakhs. our peer group is equal to dtu electrical peer group Bad aspects The administration needs major changes they are too slow in many things and the Placement cell is inactive but they are improving slowly. And some of the lack of facilities like labs need to be renovated. etc Admission process I got 31 k rank in jee mains 2020 and got cse in the spot round. If you are the general rank of 33 k is sufficient for cse,39k for it and 47 k for ece.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty to student ratio is approx 70 to 1 and they are well qualified and decent. I am from the CSE branch and our curriculum is like any other Indian engineering college .they are one midterm and end-term in the semester and if you will study you can pass easily.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, internship opportunities are decent in College with many students opting for off campus internship opportunities and on campus internship opportunities is also coming there. This year amazon hired 4 students for an internship.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 6 semesters with summer internships in 2 year and many products based and decent service based companies come to campus like amazon, zs associates, Flipkart, snapdeal, dxe, nagaro, Yamaha motors, TCS with digital profile and ninja profile. Almost all students placed approx 95% and the highest package is amazon 28 lacs and average package of 5-6 lac of all branches and cse average package is 7-8 lacs
Fees and Financial Aid
Fess is just 320000 for four years and hostel fees are 63000 for one year. And there are many scholarships provided by the Delhi government for financially weak students. We get decent internship opportunities on campus and decent placements.
Campus Life
Some clubs are active and some are inactive. In this scenario, you will face little disappointment. And in the current time, there is a shortage of books in the library but classrooms are well built and sports facilities and ground is excellent. All clubs are managed by students supported by faculties is decent.
Interview Experience
The admission is based on jee mains ranks. You can view cutoffs on college Pradesh. I can give you approx idea also. The cutoff of cse for general is 33 k, for it 39 k, for ece 47k and general ews it s around 80 k for cse.
