Entrance Preview

Gave MH-CET scored 100+. Chose the college because it has nice faculty and has a good reputation. Friend of mine was already studying so got to know more from him. College is not in city area. So there is not much disturbance and chaos while studying.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical engineering is taught well. Course structure is arranged in a way to make the students understand and score well in exams. Lab practicals are arranged to carry on practical activities and gain practical knowledge. Various tests are taken to make the students well versed and prepared for the university exam.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internship. Student needs to find it on their own. Placement is provided after 3rd year.

Placement Experience

Placement was average till 2013.Mechanical engineering had only 3-4 companies for placement.Average package was 4L. Core companies had come.Also 1-2 IT companies hired mechanical engineers. Criterias are strict so need to fit in appropriately.Placement rate till 2012 was 30-40%.

College Events

Technical fests were held along with cultural events like traditional day, College gathering once a year. Not many events were held as more focus was on studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship or loan facility was given. But since its AICTE approved other monetary benefits can be gained.

Exam Structure

Had unit tests every semester. Lab practicals were held 3-4 times a week along with theory classes. Lots of assignments were given. This were considered for term work. Overall it was strict in terms of submission and practical sessions.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Placement Experience:

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
