There is no internship opportunity on campus

B.V.M is one of the renowned institutes of engineering and in Gujarat. The most important reasons because of which I chose this college is that this college is in the city of Anand and there are various institutions and colleges around us and this makes the environment student friendly. I researched this college from quora.

I basically love circuits and embedded system that's why I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is generally 1:60. Generally, most of them are lecturer only but approx 10-15 teachers are P.H.D. holders also. Generally, there are two midterms and one semester exam in each semester. The exams are quite hard compared to GTU.

From 7th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited such as TCS, Infosys, L&T etc. The highest package offered was 12 lacs by BYJUS. The average placement is 3-5 lacs. Most of the students from IT are placed but not so many are placed in the electronics department. I am doing masters after having a degree

The college is semi-government and I am in the government one. So my fees are 7000-8000 per year. And college generally gives scholarships to economically weaker students and provide them with free books too.

There are many fests in college including tech fest, Garba night, and annual fests. The annual fest is generally conducted in the month of February. The library has almost every books needed to study engineering. The amenities are quite nice and this year only our college got renovated and seating arrangements are also nice. There are many social groups run by the student such as IEEE, IE etc.

A trust ran this hostel, and the rooms are not so spacious. The food was not too great but it was nice compared to other hostels. The hostel was assigned by the college itself. The hostel name was Square hostel and it was near bhaikaka circle.
