Remarks
I choose to attend this college because of Nice Infrastructure, Nice Teachers, Great Learning Environment, and also a Nice Placement Record. The admission Process is very smooth. Admissions are around July and college starts around 15th July.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the Computer Science and Engineering course because of the good placement. The faculty: student ratio is very good. All the faculty are having Ph.D. and they are very good and helpful. Term exams are held 3 times in the semester and exams are relatively easy to pass, but to score good marks one need to study through whole semester.
Internships Opportunities
In my tenure, only 1 company visited the campus for an internship opportunity that was DE Shaw for the position of Automation and Test Engineer with a stipend of 100000/- But TnP cell works hard to bring many different offers for the student.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The highest package made was 27.8 lakhs and the average package lies between 4-6 lakhs. The college is supportive in placements as there is its own TnP cell and it also provides several opportunities to the students. More than 90% of the Students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees Structure is very sorted. Course Fee B.Tech 120000/- per annum. Fees Hike is not very much but fees raise every year. There is one Scholarship for 1st year students and the also university gives Financial assistance to students with low family income.
Campus Life
It has one of the best and most beautiful campuses in India. The annual fest is Le Festus held in April and Tech fest is Murious held in November. All the course books along with monthly magazines and daily newspapers. Amenities in the classroom include a smartboard and whiteboard. One Sports fest is held in which many different college teams participate and many different extracurricular activities which include movie nights, Theater, and Music nights. There are many different clubs that come under JYC for different purposes are there in the college.
Hostel Facilities
All the basic facilities are there in the room i.e. bed, table, bookshelf, etc. Meal Quality is good and the menu also changes every 4 weeks. Registration Process for Hostel is rather easy, We just need to fill a form at the time of registration. The view from the balcony of the room is very good.
