Remarks

Placements are good but teaching methodology is old. Addmissions takes place in June July months. Comedk or cet marks are taken into account. I searched over sikha and career360 for getting information about college. Computer science department is good here, so I took.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some faculties are very talented but most do not teach with good practical examples. More than 50 students were there in each class so difficult to listen. Some teachers have good qualification and use good teaching methodology. Mid sems are each but it depends on the subjects. Semester ends exams are quite tough. Every exam took place in mentioned shedule.

Placement Experience

7th semester students can sit for placements. Amazon, Nutanix, VMware, Y Media Labs, Aci World wide, Robosoft, IBM etc visited the campus. Highest salary was given by Amazon which is 28 lakhs and average is 3.5 lakhs. Job profikes were tester, developer, full stack etc. Almost 90% from CSE got placed. I got a job offer.

College Events

Tech Nidarshan is the annual fest here which is usually conducted in February or March. Libraries are pretty old and less books available. Research journals are available. Classrooms have projectors and basic amenities. Basketball, cricket, football, hockey, gym etc are there in the campus. Aero club is there. Google developer club is there for computer science students for coding.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At our time the fee was 8 lakhs for COMEDK students however it was very less for CET. Only SC, ST and other tribes could & minorities can apply for scholarship and some board toppers also. Placements are very good in computer science, IT and electronics department. Campus jobs are non existent for students.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms have cupboards and beds with study table chair. Meals are average. Hostels aren't that expensive. PGs are available nearby the campus in 1km radius. Locality is good. Many restaurants are there for food. The place is a bit remote.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Admission

COMEDK exam is must, it's object exam (physics, chemistry, maths). Tests were online and mcq based for comedk. I solved object questions from NCERT books.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Pgdm At JAGsom - My Honest Take

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.
