Remarks

The reason why I chose IIAD was because of its Fashion Business Management course curriculum and its international recognition. Students enrolled at IIAD receives a Kingston University degree. The course curriculum for Fashion Business management is really holistic in nature and by the end of the degree, the student becomes industry-ready. The college has a non-conventional method of teaching and most of the learning is practically based. Also, each student gets required attention because of its student-teacher ratio, which is 15:1. Overall, till now IIAD has provided me with almost everything that I expected and I am learning a lot, both professionally as personally.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty at IIAD is highly qualified and they have a lot of relevant industry experience. My reason to pursue Fashion Business Management was because of my interest in fashion as well as marketing. I chose IIAD to pursue this course because of the course curriculum is offered along with its affiliation with Kingston University. IIAD focuses on studio-based learning, hence the students get equipped with the required practical knowledge which makes them industry-ready. Along with that, the faculty-student ratio is 1:15. It's not difficult to pass the term exams if the student has paid enough attention to the class and has sincerely worked on the assignments given to him/her.

Internships Opportunities

5

Yes, IIAD does provides internship assistance. Companies like Ogilvy & Mather, Netflix, Pero, among many others visit the campus to provide internship opportunities. The roles offered can vary according to the course, but for Fashion Business Management, roles like fashion retailing, visual merchandising, etc are offered. Most of the internships offered are paid, and hence a stipend is provided to the students.

Placement Experience

4.5

IIAD has a 90% placement track record. Companies like Netflix, Levi's, FabIndia, Squareboat come for campus placements. The average package offered is also decent, around 5 LPA. My seniors are quite happy with the job roles they have received during the campus placements. Students are eligible to apply for campus placements in their final year. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own fashion marketing agency.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for my course, BA(H) FBM is INR 450382. College does provide scholarships to the students on a merit basis, one has to apply for it once they have received an offer letter from IIAD. IIAD has a 90% placement record and companies like Netflix, FabIndia, etc comes for campus placements.

Campus Life

5

IIAD offered a great campus life. It not only focuses on education but the holistic growth of the student. The infrastructure is top-notch and all the required facilities are available from studio to labs. We have several annual events such as Remix and Convocation. Along with that, we have several clubs in the college such as filmmaking & photography, dramatics, and poetry among many others.

Interview Experience

5

Yes, the entrance test was conducted in two parts. The first is iMAT and the second is a personal interview. The entrance test is competitive in nature and it helps if a student has a knack for fashion and marketing, especially if you're applying for Fashion Business Management. Students in their 10+2 or have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% are eligible to apply.

The course curriculum is relevant to the current aspects of real world. It is also very focused on the practical component of the subject and helps us know how to apply our theoretical concepts in real life. Aspects that influenced me were: the practicality, the relatibiltiy of concepts and the testing approaches as well.

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
