Remarks

Every thing is good except these points the toilet is really in a bad condition. No cleaning whatsoever no security measure , the watchman doesn't checks on any student. Any one can easily enter the college with and thing they want to students smoke outside the college , gives a bad impression on the college the classes can be skiped easily , no one pays close attention to the students.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college on the basis of my h.s marks. I.e 85.6% . I wanted to study microbiology from a long time, and I have heard good about asutosh college. Admission process was easy, just too many people can take admission regardless of their marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is very good , teachers are supportive and encouraging the microbiology department is good enough. I can't comment on the others here teachers treat us like school students and the academic atmosphere is well maintained. Teachers arrive in the class at time and scold the children who comes late to maintain desipline. The teachers are very friendly and well behaved as well, we do not fear to talk to them, asking doubts related to the subject matter is made easy.

Internships Opportunities

No. I don't know if it provides or not. But I think it doesn't . because our college provides bsc , and bsc honours classes they are not provided with internship programs as done in engineering colleges or college of hotel management or fashion designing.

Placement Experience

2

Some IT companies such as TCS comes to our college and takes few of the students. Non from microbiology though. Last year about 30 students were placed in these companies , from various departments. The details are given in the college website. Package is 3 lakh per annum.

College Events

4

Many events takes place in my college.. The seniors just gave a freshers party last week. And every festival is equally celebrated. Festival like independence day or Gandhi jayanti or birthdays of great leaders and personalities are greatly celebrated in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is less. Not much to worry about. I give 35.5 thousand per annum . my course is for 3 years. The fee is same for every year so total I'll have to pay about 1 lakh 5 thousand for the full course. I don't have any idea for fee structure of hostel cause I travel by home and the expense on my travel and other stuff is about four thousand per month .

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is 50:50 , and the campus life is good in every respect with big library and 24/7 WiFi . many talent hunt programs are arranged in my college for different people who are gifted with different talents. Such as fashion rampwalk , dancing , singing , dwaring , face painting , Marshall arts , boxing , sports , like football etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors are very helpful and good in behavior no ragging done whatsoever in my department. The seniors organised our fresher's and entertained us all spent a lot by contributing within themselves and not asking for a penny from us they made a memorable day for us all.

Exam Structure

Yearly selection exams are held and those who qualify sit for the yearly university exams. Though many unit and half yearly exams are taken to check on students . teachers complete few chapters and then take quick revision exams on it for recapitulation and to understand if students lack in any area they should know more or well about.

Admission

I filled the form for the admission available on college website in the month of may. I was in the 1st merit list published on the college website on the given date. The admission procedure was given in details on the college website. I went to the college on the respective day and varified my documents by the officials and then went to the bank and paid the fee for 1st year , the date of starting the classes were texted on my phone no. .the adminstration was just fine. Only problem was the number of students gathered was out of limit. All on one day.

Faculty

3

Every honours teacher is well educated and have passed many exams to acquire the position they hold now. Everyone is PhD in there respective departments and many guest teachers comes to clear our doubts on weekly bases. Each teacher uses language understood by the children to make the lessons easy and clear our doubts when asked.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I have a great interest in human physiology so I chose this course, as I can't qualify entrance test for mbbs NEET. Faculty: student is 1:15. All the faculty are not the same but well qualified and experienced. Term exams are always taken in time. To pass these exams is not a big deal but it will help to obtain a good score in final university exams.

Remarks:

Apart from studies, the college works to develop a good and charming personality in the students. The college administration is very systematic and strict so as to ensure utmost discipline. There is no scene for politics. It's taken care of that students and teachers reach the classes on time and students attend their classes regularly, failing which strict action is taken against them. Students are required to wear their ID-cards and use of cellular phone is restricted. This is pretty essential for maintaining discipline. One negative aspect of the college administration is that they impose a huge amount of fine for silly stuffs which often very pressuring on the parents.
