Remarks

Collage is really good and you will see the regular of the classes. You can take admission here after clearing the entrance test conducted by the Ewings Christan College itself. You can choose this college over others because the classes are regularly held here, people come here after clearing the entrance test that's mean they are intelligent too and you will find the atmosphere of study and competition both which will help you to make yourself better. My friend suggested me about this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I want to be an IAS officer that's why I have chosen this college. The faculty of ECC is good and supportive enough but the Students are being more supportive, you will never find yourself an outsider or something else, overall if you choose this college then you are going to a good place. The Boys vs Girls ratio is somewhat 3:1. The teachers and professors are well qualified to teach you and they know their subjects very well. Being in the discipline you can get full knowledge and support from all the teachers. You will see four exams in a year. Namely: Internals examination, 1st-semester exams, Externals or practicals, 2nd-semester exams, They are not too hard to score between 45-60% but if you want to score more than 60% then you should prepare your subjects with that level.

Placement Experience

3

Students will eligible for campus placement after completing the 5th-semester exams. Not very big companies but some small companies are visited here with the average package of 2-3lacs per annum. The highest package was of 5 lacs and the lowest was about 2 lacs. The students who got placed in the companies was having more than 75%. I want to be an IAS officer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here, the subjects are divided into two categories. Some are with practicals like geography, physical education. And so on and some subjects are without practicals like English, Economics, mathematics, So, while choosing the subject of 3, you can only choose one sub. With practicals but only if you want to choose over else you can go with all 3 subjects without practicals. The fee of all 3 subjects without practicals is near about Rs.7500 and the 3 subjects with one practical subject will cost up to Rs. 8600. If your family income is below 2lacs then you will get a full scholarship by Uttar Pradesh government.

Campus Life

4.5

For the freshers, every year a fresher party is being organised by the college itself but this year due to coronavirus no parties were organised. The collage yearly fest also known as ECC fest is being organised every year in the month of March. Most of the sports equipment is given by the college and you will see them in the sports room or physical education. Students room. Anyone can play Bat ball, football, Badminton and many more game in the playground. Essay writing, Debates, G.K. test, singing, dancing and much more extracurricular activates are being held here There are some social group of Ecc students are Shivaji group Ramanujan group and there is an Ecc students website on Instagram namely Ecc wale I think.

I have interest in psychology that's why I adapt this course. got to know so many things about psychology and which help me to know people better really help me in my day today life. But the professor need to explain more and do not give illusionary examples. Did they have to try to explain in real world scenario. The courses is difficult and the paper is so lengthy give three hours to write and the people is so many that the time is insufficient they need to give more time if they expect to fill 24 pages of answer sheet.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
