Remarks

The faculty of this college is good and also the infrastructure and the facilities are good. Anti-ragging college. Previous academic was good, good hostel facilities, environmentally friendly, admission through the gate, state quota and the college entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Masters in structure is very rare in our state and also interested in doing this course, near to hometown. Faculty members were well qualified and friendly and they are very much cooperating with students. The study curriculum was good.

Placement Experience

Campus recruitment drive here in college is good. Good companies come here for the placement. They provide good packages for the students. The average pay starts from 2.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like simplex come here for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to the facilities and academic of college the fees are reasonable and worth the amount. Campus placement is good. You get to avail all the scholarship in central or state scholarship. Lecture will guide you for the scholarship. You can check the website of the college.

Campus Life

Karlav is the annual fest of Sikkim Manipal University and it will be conducted in the month of February. And every following month there will be departmental fest. The college will conduct the athletic meets once a year.

Great academic experience

Placement Experience:

The placement is our University was around 90%. Although cs and ece are beneficial for internships since many firms visit our institution for cs and ece, there is an issue with core branch internships: out of 30 students, only around 5-6 acquire an internship. If you want a work placement in core branch, you need master certain coding subjects and apply.

NIT Sikkim Review

Placement Experience:

The placement record of the college is good and most of the offers in our college is made to CSE students. during our batch, the college was able to achieve a 100% placement record. The college placement cell supports us very well and guides us during our placement process. Companies like Oracle, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Google, Microsoft, Wipro visit the campus during the placement drive. The highest package for our batch went up to 16 LPA and the average package was 10 LPA. I also received a package of 12 LPA.

Best college in terms of all things

Remarks:

There aren't any bad remarks as such as the good things about Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology outnumber by far all the little petty things. However I wish that the Central Library facilities as it is today was also present during our time and also the if there had been the Atal Incubation Centre in our days in Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology as it is today, I would surely have become an entrepreneur.

Place to live your dream

Remarks:

College is good, situated in a beautiful place i.e., near to Teesta river gives the positive vibes. Career-wise, college helps me to achieve the new milestones that I could never achieve without smit facilities and support of faculties. A big thanks to smit for making me, who I am today. I am research scientist at ISRO.

Remarks:

Very much supportive and concern about students. There is a benevolent fund to support the students in need (ex. if somebody's father expires during the course, then 50% to 100% fees may be paid from this fund.).
