Introduction to PICT

There are various good things in our college including teaching, placement, curriculum etc. The best part is a placement where 80% rate is placement rate. Bad things are strict timings are followed and the campus is not that much attractive. The best reason to choose this college is placement as it gives 5 LPA as average salary to students. I have watched all the videos and website and pict college website "pict.edu".

So most of the students who dont get admission in computer department are goes to the IT department that's what I feel. And while comparing to IT with Entc department IT has more placement rate. And I have completed my diploma in computer department so I have to choose from cs/it. Every teacher looks into each and every student progress and the relation between teacher and student is like parents and children. The teachers are very well qualified to teach in that college. Some of them even completed their PhD, MTech etc. There are 2 semesters each year. In which 2 unit test will be taken in each semester. To pass the final exam for normal students 4-5 days are sufficient as faculty teaches very well.

There are various companies which can offer an internship to our college students like SAP, SAS, global soft, century soft, etc. For each year students has to complete one project in the group. In one group there should be around 3-4 students.

At last year(4th ) students are eligible to apply for placements. There are around 100-150 companies visited our company like phone pay, icerties, LTI, etc The highest package of our college is 31 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. The percentage of getting placed is 80%. As I have already placed an Accenture company I will work there.

I have taken admission in SBC category so I have to pay fees around 11-13k per year and fees may vary. We have to apply for a scholarship from mahadbt.com website. And the name of the scholarship exam is a post-matric scholarship to SBC Students.

So our annual function is conducted in the month of January and its name is "Addiction". There are no books available in our college library. And we can also learn from the digital library as much as we need. The books are normally available to each student. There are various sports teams in our college including cricket, basketball, kho-kho, kabaddi etc. There are various clubs in our college like iee, ACM, CSI where students run these groups. And various activities are conducted by these clubs including games, seminar, competition, etc.

In a room, there will be 2-3 students according to room size. The mess is of good quality where from Monday to Friday they will give normal Sabji Roti Dal Chawal and for Saturday and Sunday, they provide one special dish like pav bhaji. And they provide coffee and breakfast for the morning. The registration process is very easy you just need to pay the fees and fill the form. And there are various rooms, hostels and PGs around the college which will provide you with better facilities in fewer fees.
