Truth about Narasinha Dutt College

I had taken admission in this college in July 2014. My marks were quite good so that I could take admission in many so-called top-rated colleges but I choose this college as I was so impressed on my 1st day that is the day of selecting candidates. The college is so big and it has a big library, as well as seminar library in every department and the rooms, are well organized and sufficiently big. Now I'm coming on the good and bad point of view by my side. My department was mathematics and as there's post-graduation in mathematics so my classrooms were not only well organized but also a smart one. There was a projector, ac classrooms, computer to access when needed etc. Also, the lab was so developed and almost 30 computers were there with new versions like Linux, windows 10. One bad thing is the locality of the college. In rainy months water logging is the most critical problem. But the college authorities are to much active to handle this issue. The admission process is on merit (HS Mark's).

The faculty members are my most favourite and I love their teaching methods. There were test and pre-test examinations which have to clear to get permission on the final exam of the university. The questions on these examinations were standard and followed by a final examination.

There is no campus placement but every professor guides us to take further decision. I took the admission for masters and the department members supported me to take the decision and guide me why should I do masters.

The fees were around 3000 per year which is much affordable. Any student can apply for Vivekananda merit scholarship, kanyashree prokolpo etc. There is no campus job. But any teacher can help for further level.

There were many annual programs like freshers welcome program, annual fest, Saraswati PUJA etc. Freshers program happen around 6 months from the admission of new batches. And annual fest is in winter. There are lots of books, journals in the library and daily newspapers are also available. More of all there is a seminar library where you can find almost all your needed books on your subject. There is a sports ground within the campus. Also, Jim and all are available.
