Remarks

A senior friend suggested me this college. The good aspect is that there are many activities and events going on throughout the year and the bad aspect is that the fees are very high! Exposure was the main aim of preferring this college over others. I simply googled the college name.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

BBA was the main idea but then this course in MIT came with dual specialization in International Business and Entrepreneurship development (there are 3 specializations in 3rd year so you can choose) There are both college faculties as well as visiting faculties and many guest lectures are also conducted. It’s a trimester pattern and so you get a good amount of time there’s no pressure of doing the whole syllabus after 6 months because the trimesters add as a speed breaker and so you can easily prepare the exams are very much on time and it’s all from what has been taught.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Many companies visit the campus for internships these include startups as well as companies. Big Bazaar, Pantaloons are Some of the companies that pay visit the students are offered with whatever specialization they want to do their internships! Min 2 months of internship is compulsory and students have a credit based on these internships they need to submit an internship report after completing their internship and then an interview is also conducted!

Placement Experience

4

By the end of the year, i.e 7th-trimester students become eligible for placement. Wipro, Infosys, Vedantu, and KPMG are some of the companies that visit they provide an average annual package of 3-5 lacs. They have an assessment criterion - selecting resume then aptitude test then GD and a PI. 60% of students get placed. MBA is what I’m planning to do after getting the degree!

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very high and in the 1st year, you get scholarships based on your board marks! The fee is 215000 per year for BBA general/ BBA international business and BBA event management. We do get internship opportunities in the 2nd year with/ without stipend and placement in the 3rd year with a salary!

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is very lively we have all sorts of events and fear going on throughout the year. The campus is huge and it’s beautiful it has a huge library every department has its own library and then we have a big common library, coming to books for each trimester we receive books from the librarian and on misplacing the books you need to buy and return the same book. There are n numbers of clubs in the college you name it and they have it! Club opening is a huge event organized by the club presidents along with the members.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are many hostels and pgs available on the college road as well as in Kothrud itself. My hostel was 50 steps from college it was a pg and they provided with a single room, double sharing room, triple sharing room a study table, quilt, pillows, a cupboard, and a kitchen are some of the facilities provided, I rented pg in KOTHRUD Pune college road.

Interview Experience

4

My topic for GD was “Is India ready to go Cashless “We had MCQ based test for entrance followed by GD and personal interview. I prepared on my own. The entrance was quite easy the interview was on the tougher side and the GD was also good having 8 people in a room!

Other Applied Colleges

Bhartiya Vidya Peeth Pune | BBA

My senior told me that there isn’t much exposure !

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, the course alone can't prepare you for real world applications. It's important to learn some skills before getting into job market. The course is pretty theory based and doesn't have a practical approach. The only skill thing that college helps with is public speaking through presentations. The teaching methods are also very much traditional type. So it's better to learn some extra skills and get experience, that can help you get your ideal job.
