Scored 97.20 percentile in MH-CET. Chose Vidyalankar Institute of Technology for MMS course since it was one of the best college. The college was renowned for their courses they offered and this was the best i got for my score.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum as set by university was thoroughly followed by Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. Professor with excellence and expertise in their field were there to support and guide and train the students. This helped in moulding us and making us the professional we are today.
Internships Opportunities
Since the college had started the new course of Master of Management studies, it was less well known for this stream so could not help everyone in summer internship. Many were able to manage their own summer internship for themselves. I did not get any stipend.
Placement Experience
Placements were not much provided by the college since our was the second batch of Master of Management studies. But since everyone were so well trained by them that they were able to get a job for themselves without putting in extra efforts. Job opportunities available then were less due to recession but everyone sailed through it comfortably.
College Events
Following are the events celebrated in our college Annual Day, College day, Dance workshop, Music workshop, Robtronics workshop, Book reading competition, sports day - Cricket etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship / loan facility offered by our college. The college i guess did not provide any such facilities to Management studies students.
Alumni/Alumna
Vidyalankar Institute of technology have a well maintained data base to connect to all the ex students. High end technological resources are used by them to connect to everyone. Alumni meet are conducted where the pass-out batch explains and share their experience.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was simple as described by the university i.e. written exams, projects, project report submissions etc. Apart from all this the college faculty would put in extra effort for the internals like presentations, speech, research, other related competition which were confidence building activities.
Admission
The admission process was simple as described and given by the university which included the following. Merit Lists based on the CET score and the Group Discussion along with Personal Interview. Based on preferences college was chosen and the normal process of admission which includes document submission and payment of fees was done.
