Remarks

This college was close to my house. I have done my entire education in Sinhgad institutes, right from Jr. Kg. I was familiar with the college rules and regulations as my big brother too did his engineering in this college

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very good and supportive. The college is well equipped with labs on every floor. Every classroom had 72 to 75 students with the students divided into 4 batches and every batch had a teacher guide. And after every specific interval of time, a TG-meet would take place where the teacher would interact with us, asking us personally if there are problems in lectures, practicals, or inter-personal if any to be addressed. Also, teachers make it a point to develop students in every aspect possible for which the college had inculcated soft skills sessions for us. So we become kind and humble employees.

Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There was a classmate of mine who got an internship in a testing/QA role which was then converted to a job offer. But I don't exactly remember the name of the company. Other opportunities are provided to students via competitions such as Hackathons, TQ-infinity, Barclay. Also, another friend got selected in the google developer student club. At last, it all comes down to what you make out of the opportunities coming in front of you.

Placement Experience

If the result of the fifth semester comes all clear then students are eligible to sit for the campus placements drive. Companies such as Mu-Sigma, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Birlasoft, T-Systems, etc visited our campus. Almost 95% of the students got placed. The highest package offered was around 12 lakhs and a minimum of 3 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite well. And there is also a learn and earn scheme for students who need such schemes. There were others too such as EBC but I don't know about them much in detail because I didn't need it.

Campus Life

The campus is good and the crowd at Sinhgad institutes is good too. There were many college events such as Carnival, Sinhgad Karandak, Techtonic events, etc. All of them were organized by the students for the students. It helps to know each other as well as helps to increase your confidence.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

college placements upto corona pendemic is very good but after that its affects our and other college palcements also but its better about 70% of student get placed . as per their performance in academics and skills . college bring very good package offer companies in first 6 to 8 months mostly and inbetween massrecuriter comes . and last 3 to 4 monts most of mass recuriter comes .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

I got admission in this college through MHTCET CAP rounds counselling. Sinhgad Institute is already a well-known and well-reputed institution in Pune. You'll have to attempt the MHTCET exam and get a good score, preferably over 90 percentile to get a good branch or your preferred branch in this college. There are also All India seats allotted through JEE score. I had applied for other reputed colleges of Pune as well, such as VIT, PICT, and PCCOE but my percentile in MHTCET wasn’t enough to pass the cut off for the branch that I wanted in those colleges....Read More

My reason for this college was its a TIER 2 college with s very normal and payable fees so why not and as i had friends and seniors who were a part of the college advised me the pro and cons of the college Also Sinhgad is one of the diversed college helps you to explore immensely The admissions process is just collecting the requirements paying the fees and getting registration, i had a very smooth process as i completed admission within 1 hour and had a overview of labs classes and campus I qualified for course based on my JEE score the cut off for CS/IT is 90+ percentile...Read More
