Remarks

I attended this college because of my friends. They have always mentioned this college in the conversations about the best engineering college in Pune. When I made my first visit to this college back in 2019, I was amazed at how real the campus looked like and all the facilities they have provided to each and every student on the campus. The admission process was seamless and did not take much time to get seats booked. The reason for taking the admission was simple, the facilities and the faculty. I have checked college Dunia in the past for searching about this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I've decided to take this course only because of the great faculty members here at our college. The college has all the expert teachers and faculty members teaching the core concepts seamlessly and takes no effort to under the concepts in the classroom. The student ratio is quite good compared to other colleges, I am not sure with numbers but what I can say is roughly about 1 is to 1.5. The strength of our classroom is about 50 students and others in the sections. The teachers are high quality and trained to teach the respective subjects.

Placement Experience

They are amazing I would say. I am still in my 5th semester and the placements generally start from the 6th semester onwards. What I have heard is that the basic package offer is way higher than other colleges, and that was great news while taking admission in this college at the very beginning.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study at my college is not that expensive I would say, compared to other engineering colleges in Pune I would say. The fee hike doesn't usually happen, but I loved how the college handled the pandemic situation and given the concession when and where required. I didn't have any scholarship, in particular, however, I have heard the college does provide some concession to EBC, OBC, and other students. Big thumbs up for that.

Campus Life

Oh, life at the campus is the most amazing part of this college. There are multiple fests happening every year, and that's great. I would give 10/10 on the social life, clubs, and overall infrastructure of the college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
