Remarks

The greatest attraction for joining VIT was it's Student exchange programs not to mention it is an Autonomous Institute which has its own perks and one gets BTech degree rather than BE, one could get Great exposure due to industry tie-ups especially regarding placements, The syllabus is focused on an Interdisciplinary approach, one gets more of the practical knowledge necessary due to its Internship and project based curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is very much up to date, as it's based on industry feedback, due to our department's tie-ups with companies some subjects were taught by industry professionals from those companies, so there's a very wide industry exposure at VIT. All the faculty is great, and had completed their PhDs so there's no restriction or limits to learning here. Every student has a faculty gaurdian and is motivated to participate in various exams and conferences.

Internships Opportunities

I opted for internship at SBEM pvt.lmt And my stipend was 4000/- per month. My profile was testing engineer and pick and place machine operator. We get internship by registering at college's TPO office, filling form and giving the concerned exams and interview. My company was situated near cllg so it was convinient for me. The company staff was very supportive and pleasant. I got the experience in a fun way.

Placement Experience

4.5

A lot of companies of all types visit VIT, all the students who aspire to be placed get the placement or internships in good companies. Others focus on higher studies and get proper guidance from their respective college gaurdians. Every year there's alumni meet, also a dedicated club is their to Handel alumi and the network is very strong and active. Many alumni visit do give guidance session, to share experiences and as externals for project assessments every semester.

College Events

5

There are 2 major festivals every year each semester, which are conducted on a large scale where other colleges participate too. Huge cash prizes, thousands of entries and a lot of fun and frolic happens. Celebrities and DJs famous food brands are invited for fun. Aesthetics during festival is awesome and the air is filled with festivities. Technical, Cultural, sports, entrepreneur all kinds of clubs participate and conduct various competitions and even special competitions are there for faculty and college staff too.

Campus Life

All the infrastructure is up to date. Wifi is present everywhere, library is sufficiently large and one can find any book needed for the course and other competitive exams. All the labs are equipped with all the necessary equipment and resources as the equipments like DCS PLC's computers etc are provided by the industries themselves.

Hostel Facilities

I didn't opt for any cllg hostel, I used to live in a PG a kilometre away from college, the average rental here is around 40-50k annually. The place where I lived was very serene, green lush environment, very quite and clean place. All people living there are very cooperative and the PG owners help the students regarding any problems faced. One can get home cooked food from the household mess available around the cllg.

I am choosing this course because it is one of the best undergraduate courses for someone who doesn't get admission in engineering or other valuable courses. because we can manage our studies within this course and we also get a higher education in future.

Students can start internships from first year itself, but even though the faculty members help students to get them, the internship needs to be off-campus. On-campus internships start from the third year itself, but mostly the students get in for an internship in the fourth year

Admission:

I am currently in the first year of my MBA course at AIBM university. The admission process was pretty straightforward and smooth. Students who have a Bachelor's degree can apply for admission in MBA programme. The eligibility is graduation with 50% + score of either of the five tests (CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, MAHCET) is considered. One should know that the final selection also depends on group discussions and personal interview rounds. The process is very much like any other MBA college only, and it starts with filling up an application online.
