Remarks

gauhati university is the oldest university of north east india. Previous year our HOD ma'am was selected as Vice Cencellor of Assam women's university, jorhat and it is really pride for us. I opting to study in this university because it is overall a good university among north east india.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosing this discipline because it was my major subject, and in my family most of them are teacher of sangskrit and i also want to be a teacher of Sangskrit language. There are 12 faculties and they are really good.

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

Now a days government recognized sangskrit as the official language so it will the great help for us for getting administrative jobs. And after successful completion of the course we can also get teachers job aswell.

Gauhati University campus life is really enjoyable, i am staying at paying guest and i have remember our returning to the room at late night after completing the functions. Such functions like youth fest, versity week, general freshers we will be really missed a lot. Those university days are never forgotten.

As earlier i told that the faculty member are too friendly with everyone, and it means u can ask any doubt with them without any hesitating. there are almost 10 teacher for 50 student on commerce. actually am from commerce so i know only about commerce. and they took sessional exam every month. oh, one more thing, on every month the college union invite some successful people on the auditorium room to motivate us, its a initiative steps for them.

My academic experience at University Law College, Gauhati University

Before enrolling myself in ULC, GU it tried to get in to Facuty of Law, Delhi University but because of lack of preparation time as I decided to get myself into studying law very late, I could't clear that particular exam and then to seek for other options I found ULC which has a very rich history of a great alumni base including esteemed Jurists and Lawyers around the country. The admission process includes an examination of 100 marks coducted by Gauhati University which tests students knowledge in various aspects including General Knowlege, English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning. The cut off for general category students ranges from around 20 to 30 based on the result of other students. I got through this exam scoring 56 with a rank of 5.
