Remarks

The college is very nearby to my house. Also it is a very good private engineering college in Kolkata. The most disciplined and punctual college i have ever seen. It is very strict on academics. Also one of the best college to get 100% placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is very strict towards course curriculum and academics. It obeys the guidelines listed by AICTE and UGC. There are two mid terms held between a semester where the marks are graded as internal marks.

Course Fees: INR 520000 per year

Placement Experience

Our placements in the college is marvellous and increasing exponentially day by day. Huge number of students gets placed. The job offers by most students are 2-3 on an average. Also several students cracks for UPSC, GATE, CAT etc where separate coaching classes are organised free from college from second year students till the completion of fourth year.

Though our campus is not so large like other colleges but still memorable. Our college organises Ureckon every year where several other colleges get chance to participate in the competitions such as robotics, coding etc. Also cultural fests are organised in the college premises where the college students get chance to show their talents.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
