Remarks

I did my undergraduation from Lady Hardinge Medical College. For post graduation I had choices to join eother pathology or gynecology so I chose gynecology in MAMC. as it is a clinical branch, you get more money

Course Curriculum Overview

Gynecology is for 3 years where we have antenatal and core gynecology branch. There is also a family planning unit. We have to write our thesis. There are high chances that you will fail in poatgraduation because course is tough.

Campus is good. i am a big fan of the limitless number of canteens we have in the college. Samosa chaat from departmental canteen is my all time favourite. Also 24 h canteen has the tastiest pasta and mango shake to offer.

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically
