Remarks

Brochure of the college and the Ranking of VIPS among all GGSIPU colleges. Heard of this college, course, faculty and active placement cell attracts me to opt Vivekananda institute of professional studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mostly faculties are good, till now I must say it's Dr Ashu Aggarwal and Tanu Sachdeva mam, they both helpa everyone with all thw doubts and career options. Also they are soft spoken and understanding.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 280000 per year

Placement Experience

I haven't any experience regarding placement opportunities but heard that the highest placement previous year got upto 8Lpa after graduation. I did internship under wesettle.com the start-up founded by my senior Mr Manas Garg.

College Events

They conduct three departmental festivals wvery year and there are so many active societies like vivran, etc they also conduct seminars and webminars to let students learn things out of their syllabus.

Campus Life

My course comes under VSBS department of Vivekananda institute of professional studies, there are so many activities/societies active there and campus is fully air conditioned, library is huge and lot of books are there to help learning almost everything.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
