Remarks

To be really honest, i personally didn??t wanted this college because of the locality ( Bawana - Industrial and Rural Area ) but i had to because i had no other option except this college in Delhi University. I wanted to pursue in Psychology Hons. but due to low Grades i had to opt this college and course ( because in this course i can opt psychology as a side subject ). So yeah in short i chose this college because of the psychology stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

So this course is not very hard. This includes subjects like Economics and Psychology and few Additional Subjects like Hindi, English and Economics and Psychology??s syllabus is almost similar and in continuation of your High School only so it is pretty much easy but yeah there are few additions in that as you??re in college. The faculty is quite good no matter the college is in a Rural Area. The teachers are excellent and very knowledgeable. Teachers gives their 100% always. Though there are very few placement opportunities and the placement cell is quite inactive because this college is a bit under-rated plus industrial exposure is only available by Psychology Department Only. I would like to name some Excellent Psychology Teachers - Dr. Ritu Sharma, Dr. Akansha Bhatia( she??s a trainee teacher so she is only temporary teacher but this college actually provides excellent staff ) Dr. Priya Bir.

Placement Experience

0.5

I??m in 2nd year so i don??t know exactly about placement and job opportunities but what i have heard from seniors is that they aren??t good. I??ll not say much because i don??t want to mis guide anyone.

College Events

0.5

Campus life is not soo good. Events, Extracurricular activities are organised but not at a good level. All events organised do not hold that much importance as in people usually don??t visit in our college as it is located very far like in fests. So in short events aren??t big enough and in paricipation is also in a low pace though teachers and students gives 100% in organising.

Campus Life

The surroundings around Campus is not soo good especially for girls( though this is a girls college ) there is mainly rural and industrial area around plus it is very under-developed. If we talk about inside the campus, then campus is also not soo good, fans are working on slow speed, washrooms aren??t that much good( yes they are sometimes clean but mostly no ) garden area is also not good, sports facilities are not developed. Labs aren??t actually there, in Psychology Lab ; yes there are some equipments but yes not that much. Canteen is very under-developed, library is ok but not improved. There are quite good amount of books but some are of old edition ( but there is a library just in front of college which is good so becomes a life saver ).

Well in my course , which is not technical and IT related, students mostly land paid interships from 2nd year . One of the most prestigious interships is the one with the vice chancellor. Placements among the commerce and IT students as far as I have heard is pretty good

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

As per I've heard, placements here are decent. I can't say for sure because I'm new here. About my plans, I am doing CFA side by side because I don't believe that a bachleors degree has any valur of it's own, one needs to pair it with something else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a person who wants to build a strong foundation in both economics and mathematics, B.A.(Hons.) Economics was my first choice. This course not only provide valuable insights into how real world economics work, but it also has great career prospects. Students studying economics major actively take consulting, research, risk management as popular career choices. Since this is a practical course with a broad focus on mathematics, the difficulty level is from moderate to high.

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically
