Remarks

My K.C.E.T rank, one of the best colleges under university, facilities like labs, class rooms, staff, work shops, canteen/food facility, nearness to my place, campus. Friends reference, not so bad online reviews.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was quite hectic, not to mention quite outdated, but the basics was good. Yup in 4 year span we had around 3 industrial visits, also they encourage internships during semester holidays, faculties were good, they are capable of teaching core engineering subjects.

Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I had done internship in 3 industries namely jindal(JSW) National mineral development corporation(NMDC) Robert bosch

Placement Experience

There are n no of companies visits our college.as it is in bengaluru, IT companies visiting our campus is high & also it has a quite good placement results as well

College Events

Our college has two fests in a year. One is technical know as "VERTEX" & another is cultrual one "SWAYAM" These are big events with inter/intra college participations. Which lasts over for 3-4 days. With some excellent theme setups.

Fees and Financial Aid

State government provides scholarship & our college will not, & if any exists I don't have any idea of it.as I didn't got one.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very good, we had free campus wifi, ground was not so big but some of our friends managed to get university level recognition in university level. library also quite good. Labs were well equipped.

Hostel Facilities

P.g are near with some good rooms acquired with all basic facilities required. In quite affordable price ranges from 5000- 7500/- per month. Neighborhood also quite clean. Also these P.G's are there in walkable distance from college premises

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

I am currently not into the placement thingy as i have just started my 3rd year but heard a quite about the placements the college the highest is aroung 70 to 75 LPA and the average is ariund 12-14 LPA. Our college also offers masters program in abroad that is it is in collab with the University of ILLNOIS. After 3rd year students above certain CGPA are given chance to complete their degree here or complete B.E with M.E in ILLNOIS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Remarks:

One of my relative's have LLB course from this college and now he is a very successful corporate lawyer, he had suggested me to get myself registered in this college and so i did. And on top of that this college is a reputated college and holds quite a good rank among the private colleges in India. I also want to become a successful lawyer hence i have chosen this course.

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
