Remarks

Many people had told me about this College. Since I wanted to get admission to the Chemistry Department I opted for this College. It is very spacious and has a heritage touch to it. The teachers are also very good. The rooms are very big compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I'm studying under CBCS course curriculum, I think the syllabus is very huge and lengthy. It is difficult to finish it on time. But inspite of being lengthy, the syllabus provides detailed and in-depth knowledge to us about the subject. We are not provided with that much industrial exposure. The faculty is very good. The professors are helpful and highly qualified.

Course Fees: INR 34660 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell in our College is very active. A number of seminar, talks, workshops regarding placements are organised by the cell for us. In 2018, HUL was invited to give a talk for Chemistry Students. The Contact between the Placement cell and us is very good.

College Events

The campus is well maintained. Students enjoy campus life and also events like fests, social and cultural events are held now and then. These events are usually very big and teacher's also take part in them along with us.

A perfect real life experience

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we are eligible to sit for campus placements . Companies like tcs , wipro, infosys often comes here. 70% of the students gets direct placements. My plans after getting the degree is to do higher studies like mba and from this college.

Remarks:

I heard about this college have some very good course. Academic majors are available.Affordable cost for taking admission.It is near from my hometown. Average classroom infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi facility available. The food of the canteen is also good. And it has a big ground where you can play outdoor games. In this college there is good infrastructure,good faculty member, good non teaching stuff also. This college give the perfect knowledge of the real world.

I got offers from Presidency University, Kolkata, Vishwabharati University, Bolpur. In Presidency Uni, the students are more immersed in any other activities. Scottish Church College, is the only co-ed college to come under top 80 colleges of India, and Calcutta University always comes within top 10 state universities of India. I also applied in Jadavpur University, but couldn't get chance as it was COVID year and my marks weren't enough.
