Remarks

The college is good if you want to stay in Jammu only but be careful as you know the atmosphere here. Mine overall experience is nice and experienced staff is what I got.No there is not any type of internship provided for the students in the college. You have to find your own internship to provide the certificate but yes the placement is definitely provided at its own merits and u have to perform on it.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was an old curriculum when I had given the examination, but things have a lot changed now. The syllabus is all-new, with good opportunities to flourish. I would rate it 7 out of 10. Earlier freshers party used to happen but not sure it still happens or not the technical events also used to take place in which various colleges participated. Other than this there were hardly any events that used to take place.

Placement Experience

5

Hardly any placement drive occurs in our college, there is no placement in our college till know but students of our department crack various states adminstrative services.

College Events

5

Campus life was ok not too good but the gender ratio was quite balanced. Also, it was quite diversified the labs were fine, not too good or bad. And officially there were no sports events. Human Genetics offers good scope in industry, research field. There are 5 teachers for ten students and teaching methods include both virtuals as well as a whiteboard.

Placement Experience:

The placements have been decent throughout the past years, around 40% of the students get placed through on campus placements. From the final year itself , the students are eligible for placements. The highest package went around 18-20 LPA while average package was around 5-6 LPA. While the packages are exceptionally high the companies that came for recruitment were also big firms like airtel, blinkit, zepto, EY, McKinsey, google, meta ,zoho, etc. The top positions that were offered included many interim heads and assisstant positions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics. The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this. You have to study in the right way and take classes. Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment. In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college offers a good mix of theory and real-life application, making it a good choice for anyone genuinely curious about how the human mind works. It also balances academics with hands-on experiences—students don’t just read about psychology in theory, they actually get to practice it through labs, experiments, internships, and field visits. Regular workshops, seminars, and presentations keep the learning process interactive and help build communication and analytical skills that are useful both inside and outside the classroom. Recently a resilience workshop was held by an alumni of MSCW, where we got deeper insights about how resilience can be built, how coping works and how some coping techniques can be bad for u.
