Remarks

The institution is renowned in our city. The faculty is also very good, i came to know about the fact from some ex students before coming to the institution. The faculties are also very caring. Numerous seminars are also arranged during the academic sessions. The students get homely feeling in this institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

The classes are arranged in a very systematic way so that the students can cope up with the daily studies. Although, in reference to the present situation, online classes are being held and the teachers are also very much cooperative in their ways. After the class ends, we are also asked about our queries. But in case of pass subject (GE) the teachers once forgot taking the exam. Other than that, everything is very well planned.

Placement Experience

2.5

In keeping with recent trends the college has a career counseling committee since 2002 which organises various programs for career development of aspiring students. The cell guides students in choosing the right career options in the ever expanding high-tech global job market. Major IT/BPO/MNC companies have visited the campus on recruitment drives. Over the past few years, our students have been recruited through such programs and campus interviews in high profile companies like Infosys, Tata consultancy services, Cognizant Technology solutions, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, 3G, Satyam, etc. Several foreign universities (UK/ USA/ Australia) have sent representatives and many students have applied to those universities using the placement cell platform.

College Events

3.5

College fests are being held here where everyone can participate. Other than that, foundation day, prize distribution ceremony, College reunion days, when past students and teachers make it convenient to visit the college and renew their ties. Students also give expressions to their talents and interests in other activities at an annual inter college festival KALEIDOSCOPE, which they are encouraged to organise to a great extent on their own in order to develop management skills. The annual sports day is an event marked by impressive, athletics, healthy competition and a great demonstration and a happy fraternity among students, faculty, non teaching staff and children of employees. The college spread out over 6.1 acres of prime land, consisting of 2 adjacent campuses. The first includes the main college building, the science building and the cottage amidst lush greenery, garden, open spaces and a playground. The infrastructure has developed and expanded to keep up with the demands of new requirements such as laboratories, computer facilities, a medical unit, canteen, a career counseling cell and a sky gazing unit.

Campus Life

We are provided with Wi-Fi facility inside the library for studies. Sports are also arranged once in a year, though students are not much interested. The library is quite spacious and the most interesting factor is, we are having 3 libraries inside our college. The labs are also well equipped with the necessary equipments, the assistants are also very much helpful to the students, the labs are also spacious. Though my subject don't require any labs, but i came to know the fact from few friends of my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.
