Remarks

I have chosen this course because I had a deep interest in technologies and coding. The best thing about our course is we can choose to be a developer, coder or master in any technology-related course. By the global digitisation, there is greater scope for IT engineers. The college should make course curriculum better and can be more trade specific. Campus crowd is average. Our college conducts a cultural night named Tasveer, a literature fest named Ingenium, a technocult fest named Advaita and a sports fest named Krida. There are intra college tournaments between the branches of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college are quite helpful, and most of the teachers have a qualification of PhD from different reputed institutes in India. They help students for their research programs. The course curriculum is quite relevant, but it also has its drawbacks. Subjects such as DEC or BME are of no help for an IT student. This course curriculum doesn't make students perfect for the industry, but it develops students for the industry.

Placement Experience

Almost 90% of the students got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Dell, IBM, Infosys and TCS. Top roles offered to the students are a full-stack developer and machine learning. Almost 80% of the students got an internship in companies like Dell and Aptus Data Labs.

College Events

Wi-Fi is available in our college, but it is not that fast. Labs are well-maintained and well-equipped, and classrooms are good and spacious. The library is well-maintained with many books, good journals and newspapers. The hostel has 3 bedded and 2 bedded rooms, and washing machine facility is also available here. Mess food is above-average. There is a doctor on the campus. There is no much scope for sports in our college as the authority is not that supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

The curriculum includes the real projects which help learn more practically. It would had been better to have more site and industrial visits and export sessions to learn better.The exams are not so difficulty to score.

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

there are smart class rooms and good faculty for my course and various extracurricular activities are available for students
you can compete many state and national level competitions such as essay writings, creative writings, debate, poster making, etc.
the management of the university is really commendable. various departments and cells have been established to help students in their academic life such as; placement cells, incubation and innovation centers for young entrepreneurs

Dislikes

students who are engaged in political activities often exercise their dominance over other students
sanitation could be better with the mutual efforts of both the students and the college management
though is a placement cell present, i haven't seen many numbers of students getting employed through the university placement cell

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

I gave JEE to get selected for IITs but that couldn't happen and therefore IIITs were my second option. Collage Review of IIIT

This was the best collage that I was getting based on my JEE rank . I was also getting lower NITs like NIT shrinage , goa etc .
