College Of Agriculture,Pune is one of first five colleges in India as well as in Maharashtra. COAPune is the dream college to every student who wants to make career in agriculture. As it is situated in the Pune city which is calle as "Home Of Learning", hence it is golden oportunity to every student who wants to make career in competative exams. The College Of Agriculture,Pune provides different faccilities regarding to course to the students than other colleges. And for making the gold of oportunity I took admission in College Of Agriculture,Pune.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty of College Of Agriculture,Pune is of very good quality. Each teacher had done Phd in their subjects. The teachers are supportive in nature and always try to solve the problems and queries of the students. The teaching method of teachers is different hence student have to adjust with their teaching method. As per the new updated syllabus, the last semester students have to visit the industries. Firstly they have to complete the village attachment and then they have to complete unit attachment.
Internships Opportunities
No, I am not opted for any internship.
Placement Experience
The companies like mahindra agro, agrostar visited to the college. The students are hired by these company and the package of the job depend upon the performance of the student. Also the students have job opportunities in agriculture sector such as agri banking, agri mpsc. So there is no huge problem of jobs to the students. The relation between senior and junior is very good. Seniors are always ready to help the juniors regarding to their studies and other issues. They provide notes to the juniors and also guides that how to study these vast subjects. Also seniors guides juniors regarding to different exams in agri sector.
College Events
The campus life of college is very good and interesting. The festivals such as shivajayanti, ganesh festival has been celebrated in the campus. The formal activities like NSS camp, NCC camp, teachers day, are celebrated in the campus. There are different extracurricular activities are celebrated in the campus and students are actively participated in these all activities.
Fees and Financial Aid
As College of Agriculture, Pune is the government owned college it provides all types of scholarships to the students provided by the government. It provides scholarships to the students based on their merits as well as on their economic condition.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure is very good. The best thing in the campus is the library of college. Library of college is very huge and provided with different types of books. Wifi is provide in the campus but it is not accesible to the students. The laboratories in the campus are well designed and well developed. Laboratories are provided with adequate ammount of equipements. There are also sports facilities provided in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure of Hostel is pretty good. Each room of hostel is shared by three students. Each room has two beds, two chairs,two tables and two cupboards. The admission of hostel is based on the merit of the students,hence one have to secured average marks for getting hostel. One should have to pay rent of 2k for hostel room. After completion of each semester i.e. after each six months students have to pay rent to the hostel room. The cost of meal is not included in this fee structure. Students have to pay separately for the meal for each month. 1150rs have to pay for the meal. The meal provided by hostel is of average quality.
