Remarks

Yes, there is an entrance exam for the course MHT-CET. But also through NEET and ICAR exams, you can take admission. Yes, there are also reservations for various caste. For my caste OBC, it is 19%. And also there are special reservations like Defence Personal, Handicap, Agriculturist, and Project affected person.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as this course has many job opportunities. Further, I can do Agri.MPSC ,IBPS,etc exams. As it is Agriculture based course I get the license for the sale of fertilizer, insecticide, pesticide, etc. The teaching staff is excellent here. Maximum teachers have completed the Ph.D. There is a total of 8 terms in this course. In each sem, you have to face 9-10 subjects.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Placement Experience

70-90% scoring students can get their placement in this college. Most of the students in this college prefer not to take part in the placement as a large number of students prepare for the competitive exams and civil services exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships in this college. For each caste, there is a special scholarship. Also whose annual income is above 1 lakh there are freeships. There are both state and national scholarships. I had also benefitted from OBC freeship.

Campus Life

Yes, there is a website named colleagues run by our batch students. There the students can post their posts in which they are experts like drawing, writing poems, making songs, etc. It was an idea of our LANG course teacher to start the website as it brings the student's talent out.

Hostel Facilities

No, we don't have to live on rent as there are 100% hostel facilities. And the fees for the hostel are very less and everyone can afford it. The hostel facility is also excellent and affordable. The hostel facility is on-campus only.

Enlist on mcaer website admission based on merit basis. mhcet exam 60 percent weightage and hsc marks 40 percent weightage. admissions are giben on merit status of caste quota. the course is good and future oriented. I chose as it is near my house and is easisly reachable for bus stops and railway stations.

Review about the College of agriculture latur

Remarks:

Very beautiful campus. There is a very big playground for the students. Lots of games are taken on that ground. All campus is surrounded by the green garden. There are also field plots of students for the research purpose so that students can do research. College library, hostel, canteen, mess, auditorium, badminton court everything is best

An Imaginary ideal college

I had applied for other colleges of Agriculture field only. But for answering the question this college is located in the centre of Pune city. No, I didn't get any rejection from any college as I had this college as my first preference over all. The admission process for my college is to pass the Common Entrance Test exam conducted by Maharasthra board by acquiring a good percentage (caste wise variable) the cutoffs are like : open category - 98-99 percentile Ews category - 96-98 percentile OBC - 92 percentile ... In a Brief about College of Agriculture Pune

Eligibility - 10+2 from any recognised board with any stream in +2. You can find the application form on the MCAER website. There you can fill required details. The entrance exam of ICAR UG or MH CET is mandatory. Earlier they used to consider +2 marks also but now they've stopped. There is 1 seat reserved for the son/daughter of defence employees.
