Course Curriculum Overview

As agriculture is very needed subject which our nation is based on agriculture. By study in this course have wide scope in India with large population of farmers. Theory is well developed and modernize but practical is very poor

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is 35000/- and library fees is 2500/- and gym khana fees 2500/- extra curricular activities fees 10000/- and examination fees is 10000/- this fees for general category and for OBC students get 50% scholarship

Campus Life

Festivals which are done in my college is ganesh murti , dandiya , garbha , tiprya , kojagiri , holi , independence day, republic day. In library generally there are agriculture related books but also some extra topics books

Admission

I apply for Icar delhi as it is top most college in India for agriculture but my score was little bit low so I have to chose other college and my college is best college in Maharashtra state it requires eligibility is 96% in cet

Faculty

MiFaculty to student ratio is 0.05 as 5 teachers behind 100 student. Relationship between students and teachers is very joyfull and friendly. Mr.khan sir very strict and old type teacher as it punishes while late in class

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package offered by the companies is around 15 LPA and the average offered is 5-6 LPA The percentage of students getting placements is 40% My plans after getting a degree is to establish a buisness or if got a placement in an company would continue further with it.

Best collage where i have spent four years of my life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was great. I have chosen the course because from childhood I have worked in farm so i was loving to work in farm. My whole family is farmer. I want to change the way of doing agriculture. And i did it I have changed the traditional method of doing agriculture. Now we use modera technology to get maximum production from our farm. In the college total students was 60 and each subject was taught by seperate teacher in this way we was taught by 10 to 12 teaches. Each teacher was well educated and trained each one having minimum masters. All the syllabus was finished on time and exams was conducted on time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have agriculture or land in my village so it give me advantage and you reason to take the course. Course curriculum is not updated but from now next batch after 2023 the course curriculum is according to NEP(new education policy). Faculty members are well educated and will qualified the the student faculty ratio is about 1:40. The exam conducting is also very late as compared to the other colleges.

I had applied for other colleges of Agriculture field only. But for answering the question this college is located in the centre of Pune city. No, I didn't get any rejection from any college as I had this college as my first preference over all. The admission process for my college is to pass the Common Entrance Test exam conducted by Maharasthra board by acquiring a good percentage (caste wise variable) the cutoffs are like : open category - 98-99 percentile Ews category - 96-98 percentile OBC - 92 percentile ... And like wise The ICAR exam conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research is also eligible for enrolling in this college....Read More

In a Brief about College of Agriculture Pune

Eligibility - 10+2 from any recognised board with any stream in +2. You can find the application form on the MCAER website. There you can fill required details. The entrance exam of ICAR UG or MH CET is mandatory. Earlier they used to consider +2 marks also but now they've stopped. There is 1 seat reserved for the son/daughter of defence employees. The campus is great. However, professors prefer to teach in the local language (Marathi) which can be a big barrier to understanding the concepts of students from other states....Read More
