- little partiality over other state students as they don't understand language marathi
- teachers sometimes teaches in Marathi and it's so annoying part and students 100/130 are marathi so not able to cope with 100% interest
- Management is poor at my time and slow mainly education department
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is theory and practical both. You will be sent to another village for your internship purpose and to intereract live with farmers and ask their problems etc as an extension worker. One thing is so exhaustive that exams are so frequent i.e apprx each month you will have your exam.
Internships Opportunities
In this college internship there are called RAWE, we have to visit village and live there for about 4-5 months i. e whole semester and practice with farmers and teach farmers about the technology and the same as extension worker. we get paid after our degree.
Placement Experience
There is too less placement in this college, as 2 lakh to 3 lakh is highest package given only by the companies. So basically, students go for govt. exam preparation such as MPSC, UPSC, ICAR PG, CAT, ASRB NET, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is okay for some student, but majority of them are from farmers family so, they avail scholarships there. There are scholarships for Icar students i.e Rs 3000/month, Merit cum scholarships for Mh students etc, and different sch for different caste too.
Campus Life
You can have your Campus life is best by having best friends. As there is no fest in this college, but celebrates 1 week cultural events by students only, and Ganesh utsav by heart and josh, most loved. Technology i.e best machines and equipments of agriculture are there. Sports and clubs are the best part of this college
Hostel Facilities
By 2019, hostel facility is worse you can say of govt. college hostel. and mess meal quality is not that good but now many new hostels are opened and with good infrastructure and mess quality improved by now maybe. Hostel fees are included with your fees as it only consist of 3000 as electricity charges only. But life gets easy with your good mates
Admission
Admission process is simple, You can get in by giving national level exam ICAR [15% seats for other state students) and also by giving MHCET having 5% seats for OS. Then apply for ICAR councilling, and get in there. At 2019, I got 888 rank and I got this college, can'nt say now as competition gets tough. ICAR exam held every year once.
Faculty
faculties are supportive here but you will not get it if you are an other state student. Faculties number are good and all are well qualified proff. there. Teaching is slow and ppt based obviously. Teachers here knows every student by face and name and also you can ask your doubts to them easily.
