Remarks

I have always been a robotics enthusiast so I was lucky enough to get EnTC branch but choosing this college was not on my list. However in all 3 cap rounds I was allotted this college it self. In beginning I wasn't satisfied with this college but now that I have completed my one year I feel that it was a good choice as its recently gained it's autonomy and the growth it has taken in last 2 3 yrs it's commendable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum still depends on the SPPU University pattern. In my opinion, it's good as it helps to be updated with the University students but the thing which should be included is the industry-level development of skills.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement and job opportunities are good enough. The placement cell help to develop the skills and manages the entire placement duration. Talking about the seniors and alumina network it's good all the seniors ae good and supportive.

College Events

The The Technical Clubs like IoT forum and Robotics helps to develop and explore a lot, and talking about the Cultural and Management Festivals well there are many events and sessions organized by the clubs in college, however the only big event is Gandharva almost every student of the college awaits for this event it's a techno-cultural fest organized on a large scale almost all the engineering college in Maharashtra are invited for the event.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
