Remarks

NIT Bhopal comes under the top NIT list thus it was obvious to choose a top NIT if you are getting one of the top branches. Also, I looked at the average placement salary and it was quite good for my branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course of my Branch (Electronics and Communication engineering) is too much outdated. We are not taught new technologies but when students demanded to teach new kind of tech related subjects the college was keen and included those subjects and provided us with good faculty members. The Faculties are okay okay not so good not so bad.

Class Size: 22

Placement Experience

Due to corona not many companies are visiting the campus this year. Otherwise there is whole lot of opportunities to grab a placement. If you code or get skilled in your area you will get placed

College Events

Campus life of NIT Bhopal is well known for. The environment is amazing. You make friends for life. The cultural clubs are active too that too they are considered coolest in the college. There is no chance to feel aloof in this college. Seniors, social clubs, your own batch mates, friends and hostel life everything is to die for.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about it but there are several scholarships provided by the college. Many students avail it and use it to pay their college fee

Campus Life

The infrastructure when I got admission wasn't that good but over the years it improved. The sports facility is amazing. Library is fine. Campus is wifi equipped but there is issue of LAN and internet in hostels. The lab equipments are old too but you can manage with them.

Hostel Facilities

Girls Hostel infrastructure is too good. Each room has attached washroom which is amazing. The hostels are usually clean. You either share with 1 or 2 other roomies. It is very easy to avail hostel facility when you take admission.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Placement Experience:

It's mostly the lawyers and law firms as arbitrators lawyers and solicitors firm. Also Litigation firms like AZB, Tatava Legal and others too took few students but not many though. Almost from a batch size of 200 students 40 odd got placed through campus.

National level law firms and corporate are yet to join hands but once it happens placement percentage which was 60 in 2024-25, will shoot to 80+ and avarage placement which were 6 lakhs will shoot to 12 lakhs a year.

Placement Experience:

It's mostly the law firms as corporate houses have so far have drench coming to our campus. The reasons are obvious as just three batches have been passed out from her so far and unless a strong alumni network is formed it is impossible to get great placements from our campus.
