Student's Review On Co-Operative Institute Of Health Sciences - [CIHS] Thalassery, Kannur

Because the teachers are very trained and Tallented. They take classes very excellent. The course is medical profeesional So after completion of this course we must get job. There are so many job offers now a days. Our college are under KUHS(Kerala University of health science). We can use 'Dr' as prefix.

Very good course. The syllabus in first year and second year little bit tough. The academic year was 4 and half year the four years we have lecture class and half year we have internship. The last two year we have 1 month posting. Internship and posting must be in a hospital. In our college we also have a small clinic. The last two year students must have clinical experience. There was so many patients in our college clinic. It will also increase our personal experience.

For UG students don't have stipend. The internship are held in hospitals. The best hospital for sports medicine department is in Thrissur Elite hospital. MIMS Calicut also good .For intership w have to give an specific amout , its based on the hospital

In our college so many extra curricular activities are there. Each and every festival we celebrate in our college. The celebrations are held in the public auditorium. The full expense has been taken by student itself. The college day and convocation day are the grand programs.

There is no Wi-Fi. Small gym in the campus for study purpose. The library was so large. We have so many books to refer for there. We also have a library period. The equipments in our labs are good quality and it is also used for the clinical purpose for patients.

Yes. There are three floors in the hostel, each floor contain 7 room. Each room is dormitory room. at least 15 students can stay in a room .for PG students will have different faculty when compared with UG students. PG students room contain only 3 students and the room is so spacious. There are 2 PG rooms in our hostel. The monthly hostal fee about 2500 including rent and meals.
