Remarks

I had applied for Government Engineering college Thrissur, Royal College of Engineering and Technology, Jyothi Engineering college , Engineering Training Centre ,Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Thejus Engineering College . I took admission in Engineering Training Centre because it is near my home and easy to go. Reason for not attending other collages is it is so far and had to travel more than 30 minutes in bus.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am interested in it. There are average 2000 students in our College and about 90 students in my class. The teachers are very strict and well trained .Teachers are teaching well. Entertaining classes .There are 3 termly exams and more than 100. Class test . It is so easy and In every exam I passed. Only a few failed in exam .

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offered internship opportunities with our collages . For example Intern Asthma Foundation , ITC , Microsoft , Finance Internship,... . A qualified individuals with bachelor's degree in finance wants to be able to apply vast knowledge .

Fees and Financial Aid

Totally we need to study 3 year . So we have to pay fees yearly. I payed yearly . I am paying 2800 fees yearly . And there are many scholarships in our school. EIT international excellence scholarship, Counsil of India Scholarship, Foundation for Academic Excellence and access Scholarships ..... . Ther are job opportunity in our campus.

Campus Life

The main fest is Annual Year fest. Every one is participating on that fest and this remains for 3-5 days. Cultural fest , Waves, Mood Indigo .... Are the other fests . Ther are more than 10 sports in our college . Any one can participate in that. There are many clubs like maths club ,science club , physics club , biology clud ,... . We had made several websites for studying. It was made by students.

Lateral Entry life in Polytechnic

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just choosed electronics because it was a good course comparing to others I'm just aiming for lateral entry exam to btech this course I'm learning is just a step for that door. For real world applications idk how much they are preparing us because I think most of these preparations are for exam and only exam oriented those who likes the course may get the real world experience others only pass the exam. Teacher should be more focused on exam oriented teaching and should include technology like projecting images, showing videos as ai had this growth it's easy for them to teach something to us easily they should implement it. Frequency and timing is not bad because there is one month gap between each exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the exams are very easy to win, just need to study on the last two days, which most of the students don't. And all the syllabus is very simple to understand we just need to attend the class and listen to teachers that's all.

Placement Experience:

You will eligible for placement only after you become final year so many companies came for placement some of them are Cummins maruti etc.. the highest package offered by a company is 4lkh salary package and 90% of students get placed on many companies and I also got a placement in a company called Cummins and am going join soon

Placement Experience:

The students who studying in semester 5 are allowed for the campus placement. Many companies are interviewed students here by many Professionals. Companies from Technopark and Infosys conduct interviews here. About 50% of students got campus placement in the college.
